Istotnym elementem samorządu terytorialnego są pracownicy samorządowi. Temu zagadnieniu poświęcona jest ustawa z dnia 21.11.2008 r. o pracownikach samorządowych. Regulację tę należy ocenić pozytywnie. Jest ona adekwatna do zmian zachodzących na rynku pracy i zapewnia dalszy rozwój środowiska samorządowego.

Local government employees are the essential elements of local government. The act about local government employees introduced on 21st November 2008 deals with this issue. This regulation ought to be judged positively. It is adequate to the changes on the labour market and provides further development of the local government community.
