Opracowana w ramach "Operacji 2007" Polska Klasyfikacja Działalności (PKD 2007) została wprowadzona Rozporządzeniem Rady Ministrów z dnia 24 grudnia 2007 r. w sprawie Polskiej Klasyfikacji Działalności (PKD) ( Dz.U. 251, poz.1885). PKD 2007 została opracowana na podstawie statystycznej klasyfikacji działalności gospodarczej NACE (Statistical Classification of Economic Activities in the European Community - Statystyczna Klasyfikacja Działalności Gospodarczej we Wspólnocie Europejskiej), dzięki temu może być wykorzystywana do sporządzania porównań międzynarodowych oraz światowych. W artykule podjęto próbę wyjaśnienia istoty działań podejmowanych na poszczególnych etapach skomplikowanego wdrażania PKD 2007, problemów związanych z zachodzącymi zmianami oraz konsekwencji wynikających z przyjęcia zaktualizowanej klasyfikacji.

The implementation of the revised Polish Classification of Activities (PKD) 2007 evoked a number of modifications, both in statistics as well as in the economic practice, which caused certain consequences for the participants of this process (i.a. statistical data users, economic entities). The aim of this article is to inform of sophisticated performance process as well as modifications made and their consequences. The paper clarifies the reasons of implementing changes and indicates actions which have been accomplished during the following stages of the PKD 2007 implementation process as well as informs on problems related with the operation. The article also describes the consequences of the introduction of new classification in statistics and these areas of economic life where the Classification of Activities is applicable.(original abstract)

Artykuł prezentuje zalety i wady traktowania przeciętnego wynagrodzenia jako statystycznego wskaźnika przychodów. Autor przedstawia eksploracyjną analizę przeciętnych wynagrodzeń dla danych o przeciętnych miesięcznych wynagrodzeniach nominalnych brutto w sekcjach PKD w latach 1999-2003.

The article presents advantages and disadvantages of average salaries and wages as a statistical feature indicator of income. The author applied exploring data analyses to characterize a structure and dynamic of monthly average salaries and wages by NACE sections from the 1st quarter of 1999 to the 4th quarter of 2003. It was found that ordering averages for NACE sections was constant in the surveyed period because of nominal increase of averages was higher for beginning values than for further.
