The article deals with the question of compensation for Belgian properties, rights, and interests affected by Polish nationalisation regulations. It is based on source materials previously unused by researchers and stored in Polish and Belgian archives. The article focuses primarily on explaining the role of the indemnification dispute in the Polish-Belgian relations after World War II, especially in financial ties.

Artykuł dotyczy problemu odszkodowań za mienie, prawa i interesy belgijskie, dotknięte polskimi przepisami nacjonalizacyjnymi. Został oparty na wcześniej niewykorzystywanych przez badaczy materiałach źródłowych przechowywanych w archiwach polskich i belgijskich. Artykuł koncentruje się przede wszystkim na wyjaśnieniu, jaką rolę spełnił spór o indemnizację w stosunkach polsko-belgijskich po II wojnie światowej, w tym zwłaszcza w relacjach finansowych.
