O przewadze konkurencyjnej współczesnych przedsiębiorstw decydują zasoby je wyróżniające, unikatowe i trudne do kopiowania przez konkurencję. Aktywem tym jest kapitał intelektualny będący rezultatem umiejętnego wykorzystywania wszystkich posiadanych przez przedsiębiorstwo zasobów materialnych i niematerialnych. Z uwagi na jego kluczową rolę priorytetowym zadaniem staje się jego identyfikacja i pomiar. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie specyfiki kapitału intelektualnego oraz omówienie jakościowych i ilościowych metod jego pomiaru, możliwych do implementacji w polskich przedsiębiorstwach dla poprawy efektywności zarządzania zasobami niematerialnymi.

The intellectual capital is the basis of competitiveness of present enterprises. He is resource unique and difficult to copying by competition. Identification is important in view of it and measurement of intellectual capital. The aim of this article is presentation essence of intellectual capital and methods his measurement, possible to implementation in Polish enterprises for improvement of efficiency the management the immaterial assets.
