Pope Francis in the Bull Misericordiae vultus, declaring Extraordinary Jubilee Charity, among the many demands and recommendations, invites the faithful of the Church of hot desire for Christians to think about during the Jubilee works of mercy and the right spirit. The inclina-tion at this particular time over the works of mercy, according to the intention of the Pope has become a way of awakening our conscience, often dormant, and also allow for deeper entrance into the heart of the Gospel, to know whether we live as His disciples or not.In making this request, the Holy Father should rethink and rediscover the works of mercy and against the spirit of the catechetical their place in the preaching and catechetical active forms filling these works of mercy, taken and inspired by school religion classes and parish catechesis. For this purpose, will be examined today in force catechetical documents, program materials catechesis in Poland and selected aids for the teaching of religion, namely text books, work sheets, etc. Used during the various stages of education.

Papież Franciszek w bulli Misericordiae vultus, ogłaszającej nadzwyczajny jubileusz miłosierdzia, pośród wielu postulatów i zaleceń, zwraca się do wiernych Kościoła z gorącym życzeniem, aby chrześcijanie przemyśleli podczas Jubileuszu uczynki miłosierdzia względem ciała i względem ducha. Podejmując to życzenie Franciszka warto przemyśleć i odkryć na nowo uczynki miłosierdzia względem ciała i względem ducha w przestrzeni katechetycznej, ich miejsce w przepowiadaniu katechetycznym i formy czynnego wypełniania tychże uczynków miłosierdzia, podejmowane i inspirowane przez szkolne lekcje religii oraz katechezę parafialną. W tym celu analizie zostaną poddane współcześnie obowiązujące dokumenty katechetyczne, materiały programowe katechezy w Polsce oraz wybrane pomoce do nauczania religii, mianowicie podręczniki, karty pracy, wykorzystywane na kolejnych etapach edukacyjnych.

Nauczanie religii młodzieży w chaosie aksjonormatywnym współczesnego świata

Celem artykułu jest zaobserwowanie wpływu nauczania religii młodzieży na przezwyciężenie chaosu aksjonormatywnego charakterystycznego zarówno dla współczesnego świata; jak i dla okresu rozwojowego; w którym znajdują się młodzi ludzie. W celu zaobserwowania wpływu posłużono się analizą dokumentów katechetycznych; które zarysowują koncepcję nauczania religii; oraz tymi; które programują jej treści na poszczególne etapy edukacyjne. Po krótkiej charakterystyce źródeł chaosu aksjonormatywnego (zewnętrznych i wewnętrznych); przeanalizowana została koncepcja nauczania religii; ze zwróceniem szczególnej uwagi na jej możliwości w przezwyciężeniu chaosu; a także pomocy w utorowaniu drogi do dorosłości. Następnie ukazane zostały specyficzne treści katechezy młodzieży; również w kluczu ich możliwości integrujących i ukazujących trwałe; niezmienne fundamenty życia dorastających. Zwrócono też uwagę na osobiste cechy nauczyciela religii; które mogą pomóc lub zaburzyć realizację założonych celów. Z przeprowadzonej analizy wynika; że nauczanie religii ma szansę stać się pomocą w orientacji młodych ludzi w chaosie aksjonormatywnym oraz w przezwyciężeniu go; co jest warunkiem odpowiedzialnego podjęcia zadań i obowiązków człowieka dorosłego.

The aim of the article is to explore the influence of the teaching of religion to youths in overcoming the axionormative chaos characteristic of both the modern world and the developmental period in which young people find themselves. In order to observe this influence; the analysis of catechetical documents which outline the concept of religion and those that determine its contents at particular educational stages is used. After a brief description of the sources of axionormative chaos (external and internal); the concept of the teaching of religion is analyzed; with particular attention paid to its ability to overcome chaos; as well as how it helps in paving the way to adulthood. Then; the specific contents of the catechesis of the youth are shown; also in terms of their possibilities of integrating and showing the lasting and unchanging foundations of adolescent life. Attention is also paid to the personal characteristics of the teacher of religion; which can help or disrupt the achievement of the goals. The analysis shows that the teaching of religion has a chance to help in the orientation of young people dealing with axionormative chaos and overcome it; which is a condition for responsibly taking on the tasks and responsibilities of an adult.

Współcześnie współpraca katechetów z rodzicami wywołuje wiele kontrowersji. Coraz częściej katechetycy i katecheci zwracają uwagę na kryzys zaangażowania rodziców w proces wychowania religijnego dzieci i młodzieży, opisując trudności związane ze współpracą katechetów z rodzicami. Poszukują też sposobów przezwyciężania tego kryzysu. W związku z powyższym artykuł ma na celu ukazanie współpracy katechetów z rodzicami z perspektywy nowych, zatwierdzonych w 2010 roku, dokumentów katechetycznych: „Podstawy programowej katechezy Kościoła katolickiego w Polsce” i „Programu nauczania religii rzymskokatolickiej w przedszkolach i szkołach”. Najpierw scharakteryzowano kontekst teoretycznych analiz, zwracając uwagę na zmiany w zakresie etapów edukacji szkolnej oraz programowania kształcenia ogólnego i nauczania religii. Następnie analizowano współpracę katechetów z rodzicami w nowych, zatwierdzonych w 2010 roku i stopniowo wdrażanych do realizacji w praktyce szkolnej i duszpasterskiej, dokumentach katechetycznych. Opisano przy tym cele, zasady i sposoby współdziałania katechetów z rodzicami. Dokonując oceny propozycji autorów dokumentów programowych katechezy, zwrócono uwagę na możliwości i ograniczenia w zakresie realizacji teoretycznych propozycji.

Today the cooperation of religion teachers with parents causes many controversions. Catechists, more and more frequently, pay attention to the crisis of committment among parents in the process of religious education of their children. They describe the difficulties connected with the cooperation between religion teachers and parents. They also seek the ways of overcoming this crisis. That is why this article aims at presenting the cooperation of religion teachers with parents from the perspective of new, approved in 2010, catechetical documents such as: The core curriculum of catholical church catechesis in Poland and The syllabus of Roman Catholic religion teaching in schools and kindergardens. First, the context of theoretical analyses was characterised. Then, the attention was paid to the changes in the stages of school education and the programming of general education and religion teaching. Next, the cooperation between religion teachers and parents in the new, approved in 2010 and gradually introduced at school and in the ministry catechetical documents, was described. Afterwards, the aims, the rules and the ways of cooperation between religion teachers and parents, were depicted. Finally, evaluating the suggestions of the authors of the catechesis curriculum documents the possibilities and limitations in implementing theoretical proposals were discussed.

Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Religionslehrern (Katecheten) und Eltern erzeugt zahlreiche Kontroversen. Die Religionspädagogen und Katecheten weisen darauf hin, dass sich die Eltern nur ungern in den Prozess religiöser Erziehung von Kindern und Jugendlichen engagieren. Es wird auf zahlreiche Probleme verwiesen, es werden auch Auswege gesucht. Der vorliegende Artikel verfolgt das Ziel, die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Eltern und Katecheten aus der Perspektive der neuen, 2010 in Kraft getretenen, katechetischen Dokumente: Podstawy programowej katechezy Kościoła katolickiego w Polsce (Programmatische Grundlagen der katholischen Katechese in Polen) sowie Program nauczania religii rzymskokatolickiej w przedszkolach i szkołach (Programm des römisch-katholischen Religionsunterrichts in Kindergärten und Schulen) zu untersuchen. Es wurde zuerst der breite theoretische Kontext analysiert mit besonderer Berücksichtigung der Veränderungen von Etappen in der schulischen Bildung sowie in den Programmen der allgemeinen und religiösen Erziehung. Im zweiten Schritt wurden detaillierte Fragen, welche die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Eltern und Katecheten betreffen, im Lichte der genannten Dokumente analysiert. Es wurden dabei Ziele, Voraussetzungen und Mittel dieser Zusammenarbeit beschrieben. Bei der Bewertung der Vorschläge wurden Möglichkeiten, aber auch Begrenzungen bei ihrer praktischen Realisierung verwiesen.

“The places for catechesis” is one of the catechetical issues that has been tackled by General Catechetical Directory. The issue is also addressed by national directories. It has been faced by French bishops in the document Texte national pour l’orientation de la catéchèse de France et principles d’organisation. The document was published in 2006. French bishops point to four main places where catechesis takes place: family, the youngest, school, other places where life goes on. The conclusion of the article is the following: the place of catechesis is where a modern Christian is. It is not a man who should search for places for catechesis, but catechesis itself, through its representatives, catechists, has to search for a man and reach him.

We współczesnej katechetyce coraz częściej zwraca się uwagę na problematykę wychowania młodzieży do życia w rodzinie. Odwołując się do katechetycznych dokumentów Kościoła, badacze określają cele, zadania i treści tego wychowania. Jednocześnie zwracają uwagę na nowe wyzwania w zakresie wychowania młodzieży do życia w rodzinie. Wiążą je wprost z ukazywaniem katolickiej koncepcji małżeństwa i rodziny oraz z formacją postaw prorodzinnych. Słusznie zwracają uwagę na potrzebę korelacji z edukacją szkolną, w której ma miejsce realizacja zajęć z wychowania do życia w rodzinie. Korelacja ta polega głównie na uzupełnianiu treści oraz na podejmowaniu polemiki z zagadnieniami, które są sprzeczne z katolicką koncepcją małżeństwa i rodziny. Analizy podjęte w niniejszym artykule bazują głównie na wytycznych zawartych w najnowszych dokumentach katechetycznych i w prawie oświatowym. Mają one na celu poszukiwanie odpowiedzi na następujące pytania: na czym polega istota wychowania katechizowanej młodzieży szkół ponadgimnazjalnych do życia w rodzinie? czym różni się to wychowanie od przygotowania do małżeństwa? dlaczego obecnie w katechezie należy mówić o wychowaniu, a nie o przygotowaniu do życia w rodzinie? jakie są założenia programowe katechezy w zakresie wychowania młodzieży szkół ponadgimnazjalnych do życia w rodzinie? Na czym polega realizacja tych założeń? Poszukiwanie odpowiedzi na wyżej wymienione pytania wymaga krótkiego wprowadzenia w problematykę dotyczącą realizacji wychowania do życia w rodzinie w edukacji szkolnej. Dopiero w tym kontekście zostaną podjęte kwestie szczegółowe.

In contemporary catechetics more and more attention is paid to the issue of educating teenagers to family life. Referring to catechetical documents of the Church researchers determine tasks, aims and contents of this education. At the same time, they underline new challenges as far as educating teenagers to family life is concerned. They directly connect them with showing the Catholic concept of marriage and family and with forming family attitudes. They also rightly emphasise the need of correlation with school education where the education to family life takes place. This correlation mainly consists in completing the contents and discussing issues that are at variance with the Catholic conception of marriage and family. The analyses conducted in this article rely on guidelines included in recent catechetical documents and educational law. They aim at seeking answers to the following questions: What is the essence of educating teenagers from secondary schools to family life? What is the difference between this educating and preparation for marriage? Why nowadays one ought to discuss eduacating during religion lessons and not preparation for family life? What are the curricular assumptions of catechesis as far as educating secondary school teenagers to family life? What is this assumption data about? Searching for answers to the above-mentioned questions requires a short introduction to problems concerning accomplishment of educating to family life in the school education. Only in this context detailed issues are taken into account.

In der heutigen Katechetik wird erhöht die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Problematik der Erziehung der Jugendlichen für das Leben in der Familie gelenkt. Anhand der katechetischen Dokumente der Kirche benennen die Forscher Ziele, Aufgaben und Inhalte dieser Erziehung. Gleichzeitig wird auf neue Herausforderungen im Bereich dieser Erziehung verwiesen. Sie hängen direkt mit dem Aufzeigen der katholischen Sicht der Ehe und Familie sowie mit der Formung der profamiliären Haltungen zusammen. Es wird richtig auf die Korrelation mit der schulischen Bildung verwiesen, da die genannte Erziehung gerade in der Schule stattfindet. Diese Korrelation besteht vor allem in der Ergänzung der Inhalte, aber auch in der Polemik mit Konzepten, die der katholischen Sicht der Ehe und Familie widersprechen. Die durchgeführten Untersuchungen gründen auf Richtlinien, die in den neuesten katechetischen Dokumenten der Kirche sowie im Bildungsrecht enthalten sind. Sie verfolgen das Ziel, Antworten auf folgende Fragen zu finden: Worin besteht das Wesen der Erziehung der nachgymnasialen Heranwachsenden für das leben in der Familie? Warum sollte man heute eher über eine Erziehung, denn über eine Vorbereitung zum Familienleben sprechen? Wie sind die programmatischen Voraussetzungen im Bereich der Erziehung der nachgymnasialen Jugend für das Leben in der Familie? Wie sollen sie realisiert werden? Die Suche nach Antworten auf die genannten Fragen verlangt nach einer kurzen Einführung in die Problematik der Erziehung für das Familienleben in der gesamten schulischen Bildung. Erst in diesem Kontext werden die Einzelfragen erörtert.
