Katechetyczny wymiar formacji w ruchach i stowarzyszeniach na przykładzie odnowy w Duchu Świętym

The author of this article tries to explore the course of the formation in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement and check whether it meets the requirements established for catechesis. Catechetical nature of the movement will be verified through the lens of six tasks of catechesis resulting from The National Directory for Catechesis. Right aſter reminding of these tasks, the author presents a general situation of Catholic Charismatic Renewal and its place in the life of the Church in Poland. Further, the author discusses the formation conducted in the relevant movement and its basic stages. In the latter part, the author analyses the content of catecheses and expected catechetical goals both in the light of the literature on the subject and in the context of guidelines included in the documents of the Catholic Church. Finally, conclusions are drawn and they are crucial whether in terms of catechesis and catechetics or people responsible for the formation in Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

W artykule została podjęta próba zbadania przebiegu formacji w ruchu Odnowa w Duchu Świętym oraz sprawdzenie, czy spełnia ona wymogi stawiane katechezie. Katechetyczny charakter ruchu zostanie zweryfikowany przez pryzmat sześciu zadań katechezy wynikających z Dyrektorium ogólnego o katechizacji. Tuż po przypomnieniu tych zadań, autorka przedstawia ogólną sytuację Odnowy w Duchu Świętym oraz jej miejsce w życiu Kościoła w Polsce. Następnie omawia formację prowadzoną w omawianym ruchu i jej zasadnicze etapy. W dalszej części analizie poddana jest treść katechez i spodziewane cele katechetyczne, zarówno w świetle literatury przedmiotu, jak i w kontekście wytycznych zawartych w dokumentach Kościoła Katolickiego. Na zakończenie zostają sformułowane wnioski, istotne zarówno z punktu widzenia katechezy i katechetyki, jak i osób odpowiedzialnych za formację w Odnowie w Duchu Świętym.

An analysis of documents of the local synods in fifteen Polish dioceses in Poland (1967-1994) gives an outline of what the preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is to look like in the case of 11 to 15 year-old teenagers. The catechetical preparation includes introduction to the liturgy of the Sacrament, the dialogue of the faith, the Christian maturity and the witnessing of the faith. There is a number of special service scenarios. It is crucial for the candidates to accept personally what results from the Baptism, that is the active participation in the life of the Church. Certain liturgical celebrations, retreats and the family prayer are particularly recommended in this time of preparation. The teenagers and adults with disabilities may undergo their pre-Confirmation program in the institutions that take care of them in partnership with parents or individuals in particular parishes. The immediate preparation in special circumstances (mature adults, engaged couples) may be arranged together with the youth groups or according to the special programs. There is also a custom to choose a name of a patron saint for the Confirmation. The parents, the sponsors and the parish community should accompany candidates by prayer, the formation and the catechesis for the adults. The Confirmation sponsors should be the godparents, the biological parents or other persons of the appropriate standing with the Church.
