Problematyka chaosu cywilizacyjnego w edukacji rozwiązywana jest przede wszystkim w aspekcie profesjo- logicznym wynikającym ze zmienności zawodów oraz warunków pracy. Cywilizacja rozumiana jako stan kultury materialnej zawiera w sobie czynniki dynamizujące i zarazem hamujące procesy zmian w edukacji. Dlatego chaos metaforyczny i deterministyczny traktowane są jako nie do końca znane mechanizmy ujawniające się w chmurach, które związane są z technologią informacyjno-komunikacyjną oraz w silosach informacyjnych kumulujących wiedzę i kapitał społeczny nie zawsze wykorzystany na rynku pracy i działalności w czasie wolnym od pracy.

The problem of the chaos of civilization in education are resolved primarily in profess-logical aspect resulting from occupation variability, and working conditions. Civilization understood as a state of material culture includes the factors dynamiting and at the same time inhibiting the processes of change in education. Therefore, metaphorical and deterministic chaos are treated as not fully known mechanisms manifest themselves in the clouds, that are associated with information and communication technology and information silos cumulative knowledge and social capital is not always used in the labor market and activity in their leisure time.

The article describes issues related to the construction and functioning of a data warehouse. This is a series of processes supporting the activities of enterprises and seem to be necessary in the implementation of other concepts and solutions of Industry 4.0. The study also explains the processes that are necessary to create a warehouse, key components and the essence of operation. The advantages and practices used in the field of business and the IT sphere itself were analyzed. The possibility of transferring the warehouse to cloud computing was also presented as well as the main suppliers offering such services were presented. The article can be a starting point for more detailed considerations on analytics, reporting and data archiving in a modern enterprise.

W artykule opisano zagadnienia dotyczące budowy oraz funkcjonowania hurtowni danych. Jest to szereg procesów wspomagających działalność przedsiębiorstw i wydaje się być obecnie koniecznych we wdrażaniu pozostałych koncepcji i rozwiązań Przemysłu 4.0. W opracowaniu zostały wyjaśnione również procesy, jakie są konieczne do utworzenia hurtowni, kluczowe składniki, a także istota jej działania. Przeanalizowane zostały zalety oraz praktyki stosowane w zakresie biznesu oraz samej sferze IT. Przedstawiona została także możliwość przeniesienia hurtowni do chmury obliczeniowej oraz głównych dostawców oferujących takie usługi. Artykuł może być punktem wyjścia do bardziej szczegółowych rozważań dotyczących analityki, raportowania i archiwizacji danych we współczesnym przedsiębiorstwie.

The paper discusses the issues of Cloud computing in the current Directive on the protection of personal data, future EU regulations and the national legislation on protection of personal data. A comperative perspective has enabled to draw the conclusions which suggested, inter alia, that neither the Directive nor the new EU regulations does not solve the existing prob-lems. the basic problems relating to coud computing indicating ,at the same time, its pros and cons, have been described. New technological solutions made the clouds become a phenome-non across borders and boundaries. For the proper processing in the cloud it is nececessary to create legal certainty and simplification of the regulatory rules in the environmentn to provide clear data transmission abroad.

W artykule poruszono problematykę Cloud computing w obszarze obowiązującej obecnie dyrektywy w sprawie ochrony danych osobowych, przyszłych przepisów unijnych oraz krajowych przepisów dotyczących ochrony danych osobowych. Perspektywa porównawcza umożliwiła sformułowanie istotnych wniosków , wskazujących między innymi ,że ani dyrektywa ani nowe rozporządzenie unijne nie rozwiązują dotychczasowych problemów. Opisano podstawowe zagadnienia dotyczące przetwarzania w chmurze , wskazując jednocześnie jego wady i zalety. Nowe rozwiązania technologiczne sprawiły , że chmury stały się zjawiskiem ponad granicami i podziałami. Dla prawidłowego przetwarzania w chmurze konieczne jest stworzenie pewności prawnej , uproszczenie środowiska normatywnego oraz zapewnienie jasnych reguł dotyczących przesyłania danych za granicę.

The article discusses problems and issues relative to automation processes at Poznań University Library. To provide a more in-depth insight into the nature of the changes, these solutions that distinctively improved the quality of work of the staff and user services are presented, beside the record of consecutive changes introduced to the library. These changes have facilitated the general knowledge of new technological solutions, their implementation and the resulting widespread use. The process of the changes in the operation of the Horizon library integrated system is presented as well as the Library’s cooperation with the national central catalogue – NUKAT . Successive stages in the development of electronic information space are described, including the creation of electronic knowledge resources and tools to handle them in the process of searching for information sources. The University Library is presented as a partner in preparing and implementing institutional digital platforms used in submitting and making available the research output of the University’s academic community to the general public. Finally, the functionality of the already implemented innovative virtual services of the Libsmart package that streamlines the operation of the University Library is presented.

W artykule omówiono zagadnienia związane z procesami informatyzacji Biblioteki Uniwersyteckiej w Poznaniu. W celu dokładnego scharakteryzowania przemian, prócz rysu historycznego, przedstawiono obszary, które wyraźnie poprawiły jakość pracy personelu i obsługę czytelników oraz przyczyniły się do poznania, upowszechniania i wdrażania nowoczesnych rozwiązań technologicznych. Zaprezentowano proces zmian w zakresie funkcjonowania systemu biblioteczno-informacyjnego Horizon i współpracy z narodowym katalogiem centralnym NUKAT. Opisano etapy rozwoju elektronicznej przestrzeni informacyjnej, w tym budowania elektronicznych zasobów wiedzy i tworzenia narzędzi do ich obsługi i wykorzystania w procesach wyszukiwania źródeł informacji. Zaprezentowano Bibliotekę Uniwersytecką jako partnera w aranżowaniu instytucjonalnych platform cyfrowych do deponowania i udostępniania dorobku intelektualnego społeczności naukowej Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu. Wskazano także funkcjonalność zaprojektowanych i wdrożonych innowacyjnych usług wirtualnych pakietu Libsmart, optymalizujących funkcjonowanie Biblioteki Uniwersyteckiej.

Jedną z istotnych barier rozwojowych sektora MSP są ograniczenia finansowe. Skutkuje to mniejszymi nakładami na niezbędną infrastrukturę ICT (Information and Communication Technology), która stanowi istotne uwarunkowanie nowocześnie funkcjonujących przedsiębiorstw. Interesującym rozwiązaniem staje się model przetwarzania w „chmurze” (cloud computing), jako szczególne rozwinięcie idei outsourcingu informatycznego. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie rosnącego zainteresowania sektora MSP tym modelem przetwarzania danych, ukazanie jego istoty i efektywnych wariantów realizacyjnych. Wykorzystując własne badania ankietowe oraz dostępną literaturę przedmiotu, autor przedstawił koncepcję wykorzystywania przetwarzania w „chmurze” na poziomie koniecznej warstwy sprzętowo-systemowej oraz aplikacyjnej. Ta ostatnia właśnie – za sprawą zastosowania systemów ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) – stanowi o końcowych walorach użytkowych modelu cloud computing. Artykuł koncepcyjny.

One of substantial development barriers for the SME sector is financial limitations. It leads to lower outlays on an indispensable ICT (information and communication technology) infrastructure, which is a crucial determinant of newly functioning enterprises. An interesting solution becomes the model of cloud computing as a specific explication of the idea of IT outsourcing. An aim of the article is to indicate a growing interest of the SME sector in this model of data processing, to show its essence and effective implementation variants. Using his own surveys as well as the accessible literature of the subject, the author presented the concept of use of cloud computing at the level of the necessary hardware, software and application layer. Just the latter – thanks to use of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems – determines the final use values of the cloud computing model. The article is of the conceptual nature.
