On 26-28 September 2012, at University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, it was organized an international conference “Internet Beta 2012”. The main goal was to gather representatives of science and e-business at one place and enable them professional discussion in an international environment. During 3 days many lectures have been delivered, among others by Andrew Keen, Javier Galan, Irene Pereyra, Anton Repponen, Chris Speed, Paweł Tkaczyk, Bartłomiej Gola, Michał Sadowski, Jarosław Lipszyc. Main problems discussed were concerning e-business, new trends in e-commerce, interactive marketing and e-PR, also new technologies used in e-business.
Conference report (Międzynarodowa konferencja naukowa „Biblioteka, Książka, Informacja i Internet 2012, Instytut Bibliotekoznawstwa i Informacji Naukowej UMCS w Lublinie (Lublin, 9–10 października 2012 r.))
The article deals with the application of drama, a solution for inclusiveness in teaching children with special educational needs in the preschool and elementary school education spectrum, with the use of the Kolb cycle in the construction of classes. It presents the main principles of a training which was provided to a group of 78 students of pre-school and early school education, including forty-two professionally active teachers. Subsequently, in order to diagnose the application in practice of the acquired skills, a questionnaire of the author’s own design was used in a survey con- ducted one month and one year after the training. The results revealed that, according to the assumptions, professionally active teachers generally use drama in pre-schools and at school; what is more, the Kolb cycle is used creatively in combination with other educational and preventive techniques.

It was organised on the occasion of the centenary of Finland’s independence by the Section for the Study of Finnish Language, Culture and Economy and second-year students of the programme called Scandinavian Studies: Finnish Language, Culture and Economy, who are also members of the active Finnish Study Circle Routa."
On 24th and 25th of May, 2018, the Institute of Polish Studies and Journalism of the University of Rzeszów hosted the scientific conference Life without Love is (not) possible. The conference was organized by the employees of the Department of Methodology of Teaching Literature and Polish Language. Over forty participants from the most important academic centres from all over Poland took part in it. The speakers addressed not only general topics concerning basic types of love (agape, charis, eros, family), but also referred to more detailed, but extremely important issues, such as: aspects, features of this value depicted in literary texts, magazines or aphorisms; ways of talking about love in the statements of young people and school textbooks.
The perception of Russian business in Poland is subject to a number of non-economic factors. It is a specific mixture of stereotypes, mistrust, and fear on top of the real problems that occur in communication between different cultural circles and different interests. The conference, held at the Cracow University of Economics, was organised as a forum for entrepreneurs and experts to discuss issues in Polish-Russian business cooperation.
The 40th annual conference of the Children’s Literature Association (ChLA), hosted by the University of Southern Mississippi (USM), took place from 13 to 16 June 2013 at the IP Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi. Organized in collaboration with the ChLA, the USM Department of English, the USM de Grummond Children’s Literature Collection at McCain Library and the USM University Libraries, the conference encompassed 14 concurrent sessions involving 80 panels with presentations from over 250 international scholars. The central topic of this year’s ChLA conference was play and risk, as these two notions have been interconnected with children’s literature as both a literary and scholarly endeavour from its very beginnings.
The report refers to the All-Poland Scientific Conference held on 23–26 September 2018, organized by the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin — the 23rd Meeting of the Departments of Theory of Philosophy of Law “State — Society — Culture: Formal and Informal Sources of Law”. The conference dealt with the problems of the sources of law and lawmaking, significant due to the scale of activity of lawmaking, the scope of juridization of social life and dynamic socio-cultural transformations.
