Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale features a pattern of violent rebellion that only just fails to happen. Such moments of near-rebellion, best interpreted through the play’s master trope of the moving statue, constitute an exploration of the causes of political rebellion and how best to avert it. Wzrost znaczenia nowych technologii i wirtualizacja przestrzeni życia społecznego zepchnęłyniemal każdą sferę funkcjonowania społecznego do internetu. Przemianom tymuległa również dziedzina świadczenia i otrzymywania pomocy w sieci. Poradnictwo online,przejawiające się w postać między innymi pomocy psychologicznej online, internetowychgrup wsparcia czy blogów, stanowi atrakcyjną formę nawiązywania relacji pomiędzyjednostkami znajdującymi się w podobnym położeniu. Umożliwia dzielenie się swoimdoświadczeniem bez względu ograniczenia czasowo-przestrzenne i przy zachowaniuanonimowości. W warunkach komunikacji zapośredniczonej są one skłonne darzyć sięwiększą sympatią i zaufaniem. Pomoc w sieci nie jest jednak wolna od licznych niebezpieczeństw.Zagrożenia związane z komunikowaniem się w sieci mogą wynikać zarównoz nieprawidłowych wzorów korzystania z internetu o charakterze jednostkowym (uzależnienia,utrudniony rozwój psychofizyczny), jak i wadliwych relacji z innymi użytkownikami(oszustwa, cyberprzemoc, naruszanie prywatności, ryzyko niezrozumienia).

The growing importance of new technologies and the virtualization of the space of sociallife is pushing almost every sphere of social functioning onto the Internet. This transitionalso applies to an area of providing and receiving assistance, online counselling, manifestedin the form of, inter alia, online psychological help, online support groups or blogs,is an attractive form of establishing relationships between people in similar situations.The Internet allows to share experiences regardless of the constraints of time and spacewhile maintaining anonymity. In the conditions of mediated communication individualsare willing to bestow greater sympathy and trust. Nevertheless, online support is not free from dangers. Risks associated with communication on the Internet may be due to boththe misguided patterns of the Internet usage of an individual (addictions, difficult physicaland psychological development) and defective relations with other users (fraud, cyberbullying,invasions of privacy, the risk of misunderstanding).

Thomas Aquinas holds not only that prudence, the virtue of right practical reasoning, is necessary for living well, but emphatically asserts that it “is the virtue most necessary to human life.” This essay argues that the force of Thomas’ assertion should not be understood as simply contradicting the objection—that “it seems that prudence is not a virtue necessary to living a good life”—with vigor, but rather, as we intend to show, that although all the moral virtues are necessary for the good life, there is a superior importance to the need for prudence, as that whereby the parts of virtuous living are not merely stacked up like building blocks of moral righteousness, but coalesced into a complete whole. To make clear the reasons for this preeminent necessity, we shall first consider the parts and constitution of prudence itself, its relationship to the other virtues, and conclude with its principal act, praeceptum.

Il can. 1490 CIC prevede una figura nuova, molto discussa, che finora funziona solamente in alcuni tribunali ecclesiastici. L’istruzione Dignitas connubii che contiene le norme riguardanti  l processo della nullità matrimoniale, nel art. 113, invita di nuovo tutti i vescovi diocesani di nominare gli avvocati stabili presso i loro tribunali. In questo articolo ho voluto non solo di presentare le diverse norme riguardanti l’ufficio dell’avvocato, ma sopratutto prendere in esame i diversi argomenti spesso presentati come l’ostacolo per il normale funzionamento della giustizia ecclesiastica. Affronatando questi argomenti ho cercato di presentare la mia opinione in quetione. Ho voluto anche di far vedere i vantaggi riguardanti la presenza dell’avvocato stabile durante il processo matrimoniale sia per lo stesso tribunale sia per le parti in causa, in specie quelle più povere.

Alan Dershowitz to jeden z najwybitniejszych adwokatów amerykańskich, a jednocześnie jeden z bardziej kontrowersyjnych, profesor prawa na Uniwersytecie Harwarda. Napisał bardzo popularną książkę adresowaną do młodego prawnika, w formie listów. Zawiera ona porady oraz wskazówki. Dla Czytelnika z Polski szczególnego waloru nabiera fragment o właściwym dobieraniu sobie autorytetów, w którym wskazuje, kto dla niego – Dershowitza jest niewątpliwym autorytetem. To Jan Karski – polski bohater narodowy, który informował świat o Holokauście i apelował o pomoc dla polskich Żydów, będąc delegatem polskiego rządu w Londynie. Rady Dershowitza mogą czasami zaskakiwać, ale niewątpliwie stanowią powód do refleksji.

Alan Dershowitz is one of the most distinguished American advocates and, at the same time, one of the most controversial law professors at Harvard University. He wrote a very popular book addressed to a young lawyer in the form of letters. It contains several advices and tips. For the Polish reader, the part about the proper choice of father figuers will be of special value. Therein, he indicates who has played such a role in his life. It has been Jan Karski, a Polish national hero, who informed the world about the Holocaust and who, as a delegate of the Polish Government in London, appealed for help for the Polish Jews. Some of Dershowitz’s advices can sometimes be surprising to the reader, but undoubtedly they form basis for further reflection.

The author of the presented article out a thorough interpretation of can. 127 § 1 CIC. According to the analyses, in the final stage of the decision process a superior remains autonomous in placing acts. However, making the decision becomes impossible without the consent of a college or group of persons. The author of the study proved that convoking a college or group of persons is a strict requirement. This is because in this case a disabling act applies in implicit manner. The analysed can. 127 § 1 CIC include different dispositions concerning the consent and counsel. If a superior does not procure the consent, he cannot act as he intended to. As for the counsel, he is obliged under sanction of invalidity to seek the judgement of college or group of persons. In this case, however, it is not necessary for him to follow the opinion expressed by the consultative body. According to the author, the diversity of the solutions applied from the diverse character of acts placed by an ecclesiastical superior in the canonical system.
