Medieval chronicles often contain some included poems according to principles of varietas. It is consider worthy, why they are located in precise defined particular places. Probably medieval poetics can deliver an answer. Unfortunately rhetorical rules and terms are often not fully exhaustive and do not clarify all poems occurrences. In some cases the dramatic text organization can explain using of particular poetical sequences. They serve as a commentary or an enrichment of used argumentation. A different situation is related to bigger dramatically organized text passages, which should be consider as a closed drama. A splendid example can be found in Chronica Polonorum written by Master Vincentius (Kadłubek). In this case a relationship between drama, theatre and rhetoric should be carefully examined.

The issue of criminal law is constantly present in press materials. Crime, for the media, is news. It occurs when we talk about the act of a particular person and the equally concrete, often extremely dramatic situation in which the act is done. Information about the applicable regulations is given primarily in the context of the application of the law. For the media, the report of a crime, trial and verdict are circumstances that are a pretext for discussing matters of criminal law. The message is characterized by personalization, dramatization and immediacy. Usually the message is simplistic and selective.

Problematyka prawa karnego jest stale obecna w materiałach prasowych. Przestępstwo dla mediów to news. A jest nim wtedy, gdy mówimy o czynie konkretnej osoby i równie konkretnej, często niezwykle dramatycznej sytuacji, w jakiej do niego dochodzi. Informacje o obowiązujących przepisach przekazywane są przede wszystkim w kontekście stosowania prawa. Doniesienie o przestępstwie, proces i wyrok to dla mediów okoliczności stanowiące pretekst do podjęcia zagadnień z obszaru prawa karnego. Przekaz ten cechuje m.in. personalizacja, dramatyzacja i natychmiastowość. Zazwyczaj jest on uproszczony i wybiórczy.

The Dramaturgy of Roman Polański’s Two Men with a Wardrobe   Marek Hendrykowski’s case study on Polański’s famous student etude Two Men with a Wardrobe reconstructs this wonderful short movie take-by-take: a must for anyone who cares about cinema as art. The young (24 years old) director, together with a team of talented colleagues (cameraman Maciej Kijowski, actors Jakub Goldberg and Henryk Kluba, director’s assistant Andrzej Kostenko and film music composer and jazzman Krzysztof Komeda), demonstrated a very modern way of thinking about the art of the moving image and about the various possibilities hidden in the simple poetics of screen drama. From its opening scene on the beach to the dramatic and nostalgic ending with a comeback to the sea, the film charts two men’s struggles on the difficult path to becoming independent human beings enjoying their own freedom.
