Tematyka tekstu oscyluje wokół wykorzystania metody pisania kreatywnego na zajęciach z języka polskiego jako obcego. W centrum zainteresowania postawione jest doświadczenie płynące z pracy z użyciem elementów tej metody, artykuł ma charakter stricte praktyczny i dotyczy sposobów wprowadzania i korzystania z tego sposobu pracy w trakcie regularnego lektoratu oraz podczas zajęć dodatkowych typu warsztaty czy letnie kursy polskiego jako obcego.

The article is dedicated to teaching Polish as a foreign language using elements of creative writing method. As the author has had quite rich experience in using this kind of teaching, the text is rather subjective and shares some tips on how to implement this method well and continue to use it along the course. It is also a good material before organizing additional workshops or summer course of Polish as a foreign language.

The author has reviewed selected textbooks written in the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century and meant for the learning of Polish by French-speaking people. Attention is drawn to both the external (historical, social and institutional context) and internal determinants (the structure of the textbooks, the choice of themes, the type and quality of examples). These determinants seemed to be important in the description of sources belonging to the historical methods of teaching and learning foreign languages. The suggested way of describing old sources could result in a holistic approach to old textbooks and could be helpful in securing a proper place for them in the history of the Polish language.

W artykule dokonano charakterystyki wybranych dawniejszych (powstałych w drugiej połowie XIX i na początku XX wieku) podręczników do nauki języka polskiego przeznaczonych dla publiczności frankofońskiej. Zwrócono uwagę na uwarunkowania zewnętrzne (kontekst historyczny, społeczny, instytucjonalny) i wewnętrzne (struktura podręczników, dobór treści tematycznych, rodzaj i jakość materiału egzemplifikacyjnego), które wydają się istotne w opisie tego typu źródeł z zakresu glottodydaktyki historycznej. Postawiono tezę, że zaproponowany sposób opis dawnych źródeł może skutkować holistyczną wizją dawnych podręczników i być pomocny w zapewnieniu im właściwego miejsca w historii polszczyzny.
