Pułapki w aspekcie strukturalnym i językowym wzorców gatunkowych dla Słowian ze wschodu (na podstawie pisemnych prac certyfikatowych z roku 2019, poziom B1)

There are tasks on the state certificate examinations in Polish as a foreign language, included in examination papers in the part: Writing, aiming at checking of the skill of foreigners to properly formulate texts representing certain popular Polish pragmatic genres. The authors provide a survey of written utterances from 2019 in terms of their genological correctness, mainly in the structural aspect. They analyzed texts were written by persons of East Slavic origin, since Slavs from the East constitute a considerate majority of candidates taking the Polish state certificate examination. Due to the same reason, the analyses focused on examination sheets from B1 level – this level is the most popular with the foreigners. Making a list of errors may be useful in the Polish language teaching in classes dedicated to development of the skill of writing.

Na państwowych egzaminach certyfikatowych z języka polskiego jako obcego w zestawach egzaminacyjnych w części pisanie znajdują się zadania, których celem jest sprawdzenie umiejętności poprawnego redagowania popularnych polskich gatunków użytkowych. Autorki dokonują przeglądu wypowiedzi pisemnych z roku 2019 pod kątem ich poprawności gatunkowej przede wszystkich w aspekcie strukturalnym. Analizie poddano prace osób wschodniosłowiańskiego pochodzenia, ponieważ Słowianie ze Wschodu stanowią zdecydowaną większość wśród zdających państwowy egzamin certyfikatowy. Z tego samego względu oglądowi poddano arkusze egzaminacyjne z poziomu B1 – cieszącego się największą popularnością wśród cudzoziemców. Zestawienie błędów może być przydatne w pracy glottodydaktycznej podczas zajęć poświęconych rozwijaniu sprawności pisania.

The article deals with the issue of testing Polish as a foreign language of bilingual and multilingual young learners. Authors of the article present different educational solutions to testing and certifying foreign language skills in Poland, Ireland, Germany and in the United States of America. Different language tests are discussed, especially German school-leaving exams in Polish (Abiturprüfung Polnisch) as well as German telc exam in Polish or Irish Leaving Certificate exam in Polish, American Seal of Biliteracy and Languages Other Than English exams (LOTE). The article includes results of the survey conducted among the young learners who decided to take the Polish certificate exam at B1 level in Poland in 2017. The participants of the research confirmed the meaningful role of the certificate exams in Polish as a foreign language. At the end of the article the specific character of the Polish language exams abroad is also discussed in comparison with the Polish language test available for the young learners at the age of 14–17.

Artykuł porusza kwestię testowania i certyfikacji znajomości języka polskiego u uczniów dwu- i wielojęzycznych. Autorki przedstawiają polskie i zagraniczne rozwiązania systemowe, charakteryzując zróżnicowane podejścia do koncepcji poświadczania znajomości polszczyzny zarówno w Polsce, jak i w Niemczech, Irlandii oraz w Stanach Zjednoczonych Ameryki Północnej. Szczegółowo zostały omówione: niemiecka matura z języka polskiego (Abiturprüfung Polnisch) oraz tamtejszy certyfikat TELC, irlandzki Leaving Certificate Polish oraz amerykańska Seal of Biliteracy i egzamin LOTE Polish. Autorki tekstu zwracają przy tym uwagę na nowość, jaką w Polsce stanowią egzaminy certyfikatowe z JPJO w tzw. grupie dostosowanej do potrzeb dzieci i młodzieży i prezentują wyniki sondażu opinii na ten temat wśród zdających w wieku 14–17 lat, uwypuklając znaczenie i rolę tych egzaminów z perspektywy młodzieży. W podsumowaniu dyskutowana jest kwestia konkurencyjności polskich egzaminów certyfikatowych DiM wobec tego typu oferty zagranicznej.

The article presents an analysis of lexical interference errors made by Slavs from the East. The authors made an attempt to classify them and indicate the source of their occurrence. The source material consists of written texts, selected from certificate tests (level B1). The errors were divided into several groups due to their impact on the communicative effectiveness of people of East Slavic origin learning Polish as a foreign language. The presented material can be used as a base for development of didactic tasks preventing lexical interference.

W artykule poddano analizie interferencyjne błędy leksykalne popełniane przez Słowian ze Wschodu. Podjęto również próbę ich klasyfikacji oraz wskazanie źródeł powstawania. Materiał źródłowy stanowią wypowiedzi pisemne, zaczerpnięte z testów certyfikatowych (poziom B1). Błędy podzielono na kilka grup z uwagi na ich wpływ na skuteczność komunikacyjną osób pochodzenia wschodniosłowiańskiego uczących się JPJO. Prezentowany materiał może służyć pomocą do opracowywania zadań zapobiegających interferencji leksykalnej.

The article concerns the testing of the level of mastery of the Polish verb aspect in state certificate examinations in Polish as a foreign language at the B1 level (adjusted to the needs of adults). All the tasks (from the years 2009 – 2020) devoted to the discussed grammatical category were analysed. The collected observations were compared with the conclusions drawn from the research on aspect based on Polish-German and German-Polish translation. By taking into account the perspective of cognitive semantics, this research allowed the description of the repertoire of exponents of aspectual meanings in non-aspect language, and consequently led to new findings in the field of the so-called contexts of the use of perfective and imperfective verbs in Polish – findings particularly important from the point of view of teaching Polish as a foreign language.

Artykuł dotyczy sposobu sprawdzania stopnia opanowania zagadnienia aspektu polskiego czasownika przez zdających państwowe egzaminy certyfikatowe z języka polskiego jako obcego na poziomie B1 (w grupie dostosowanej do potrzeb osób dorosłych). Analizie poddano wszystkie zadania poświęcone omawianej kategorii gramatycznej wykorzystane na egzaminach certyfikatowych w latach 2009–2020. Zebrane obserwacje zestawiono z wnioskami płynącymi z opartych na tłumaczeniu polsko-niemieckim i niemiecko-polskim badań nad aspektem. Dzięki uwzględnieniu perspektywy semantyki kognitywnej badania te pozwoliły na opisanie repertuaru wykładników znaczeń aspektowych w języku bezaspektowym, a w konsekwencji doprowadziły także do nowych, szczególnie istotnych z punktu widzenia glottodydaktyki polonistycznej, ustaleń w zakresie tzw. kontekstów użycia czasowników dokonanych i niedokonanych w języku polskim.
