The themes of responsibility and care for the environment in the local dimension and in everyday life are present in the literature and indicate that the slogan of sustainable development is very much up-to-date. The importance of local communities in this area of activity is growing. They are characterised by a genuine concern for the environment, unlike the one centrally controlled by the state. The idea of sustainable development presented in the article is part of the activities undertaken by the International Federation for Home Economics. It is one of the leading global organisations operating in the field of home economics. Being a catalyst for progress in line with the times when it is updating its objectives in the countries of its members is a constant priority in its environmental education activities, which are concerned with quality of life. Recently, sustainable development has become such a priority.

Obecne w literaturze wątki odpowiedzialności i troski o środowisko w wymiarze lokalnym i w codziennych powinnościach wskazują, że hasło zrównoważonego rozwoju jest bardzo aktualne. Podnoszenie znaczenia wspólnot lokalnych w tym obszarze działań, cechuje prawdziwa dbałość o środowisko, w odróżnieniu od tej, sterowanej centralnie przez państwo. Idea zrównoważonego rozwoju przedstawiona w artykule wpisuje się w działania podejmowane przez International Federation for Home Economics. Jest to jedna z głównych organizacji o charakterze globalnym działająca na polu domowej ekonomii. Stałym priorytetem w jej działalności w zakresie edukacji ekologicznej charakteryzującej się dbałością o jakość życia, jest bycie katalizatorem postępu w obecnych czasach, aktualizując swoje cele w krajach, z których wywodzą się jej członkinie i członkowie. W ostatnim okresie priorytetem tym stał się zrównoważony rozwój.

Home economics and the way it functions is now a priority area in the daily lives of all people running households. Negative behaviors in these households, not only of a nutritional nature, have had an impact on global issues. Is being eco-friendly today a necessity or rather an individual preference? What optics define (and do they define) the changes in homeeconomics? How is this happening and in what direction? These issues were the topics of essays developed by first-year sociology students at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in 2021. They were preceded by the presentation of the International Federation for Home Economics (IFHE), which has been at the vanguard of change in the field of home economics for over 100 years of its existence.

Domowa ekonomia i sposób jej funkcjonowania to obecnie priorytetowa sfera życia codziennego wszystkich ludzi prowadzących gospodarstwa domowe. Negatywne zachowania nie tylko o charakterze żywieniowym w tych gospodarstwach, wywarły wpływ na problemy globalne. Czy bycie dzisiaj "eko" to konieczność, czy raczej poziom indywidualnych preferencji? Jaka optyka definiuje (i czy definiuje) zmiany w domowej ekonomii, w jaki sposób się to dokonuje i w jakim kierunku? Te właśnie zagadnienia stanowiły tematy esejów opracowanych przez studentów pierwszego roku socjologii SGGW w Warszawie w roku 2021. Poprzedzała je prezentacja organizacji IFHE (International Federation for Home Economics), która przez ponad 100 lat swojego istnienia znajduje się w awangardzie zmian na polu domowej ekonomii.

Výsledky prieskumu výuĉby techniky na nižšom stupni stredného vzdelávania v SR

Štúdia informuje o výsledkoch dotazníkového prieskumu, ktorý z podnetu Predmetovej komisie Ĉlovek a svet práce (PK ĈaSP) uskutoĉnil ŃPÚ v Bratislave. Prieskum bol zameraný na zistenie aktuálneho stavu, systému a podmienok výuĉby techniky v základných ńkolách na Slovensku. Výsledky prieskumu potvrdili, ņe jestvujúci stav výuĉby je nekoordinovaný a zo strany MŠ VV a Š SR si vyņaduje prijatie skorých opatrení, ktoré do výuĉby zavedú systém funkĉný, stabilný a dlhodobo rozvíjajúci sa.

This study presents the results of the questionnaire survey implemented by the National Insti-tute for Education in Bratislava at the instance of the board of experts entitled Human and the world of work. The survey was focused on the system, current situation and the conditions of teaching techniques in basic schools in Slovakia. The results of the survey confirm that the current status is not coordinated and the situation requires several arrangements by the Ministry of educa-tion, science, research and sport of the Slovak republic which would make the teaching functional, stable and expanding in the long term.
