The modern process of informatization of education is the basis for the introduction of information and communication technologies (ІCT) in the learning process, where cloud technologies become the most popular, which takes place in different types of learning activities. These technologies are actively used to transfer information and to provide teacher-student cooperation in modern systems of open and distance education. One means of ICT is a learning management system (LMS). One of the promising ways of using LMS of higher education is a cloud-oriented organization access to the software. So, in these circumstances, the relevance of this problem has led to the choice of research topic summary: clouds oriented learning management system canvas. Currently in the global information space, there are many LMS with clouses source (Blackboard, Coursera, EdX, Desire2Learn, Udacity), where universities can have access to them only after the conclusion of the relevant agreement on collaboration and with open source (Canvas Instructure, Udemy, Moodle, OpenLearning), where Lecturers are free to post their courses. Therefore, the article is devoted to the learning management system Canvas of the company Instructure with open source placed in the «cloud». LMS consists of the following services: management learning activity; management of learning content; content delivery; navigation control on content; testing and evaluation of educational achievements of students; accounting activities and results of the student; keeping the Profiles of Student and Lecturer. To use the LMS Canvas in professional activities the teacher must have a computer connected to the Internet browser, the account in Canvas and skills with the Internet and Web applications. It should also be noted that in the article there are different reviews of the US Lecturers where they convince that this system has a lot of possibilities and is interactive, comfortable, dynamic and designed for the needs of higher education. Particular attention is paid on instruments that make up the Canvas: Canvas Higher Ed, Canvas К-12, Canvas Network, Bridge.

The article studies peculiarities of organization of teaching of theoretical linguistic disciplines in the context of informatization of education. It emphasizes the importance of using internet technologies in the system of higher education, reveals main theoretical groundings of their implementation into the educational process and training teachers of English as a foreign language. The author analyses didactic parameters of using web-resources in the process of teaching linguistic theoretical academic subjects, taking as an example Theoretical grammar of the English language. The article gives an overview and brief analysis of some on-line linguistic databases, resources, free language theory courses which are widely available. The author demonstrates various possibilities of using specialized on-line resources for teaching the theory of the English language and organizing research work of undergraduate and graduate students. Reform of higher education in Ukraine is caused the needs of today society due to the building of information society and integration in the global intellectual space dimension. Modification of the requirements of educational process in higher education, its quality and semantic parties should ensure the quality of training to world standards. That is one of the main vectors and targets of the improvement of higher education in Ukraine should create a system of quality assurance and professional development aimed at forming professional independence and acquire new knowledge and skills in the conditions of intensive informational society. In this context particularly urgent search for new and upgrade existing forms of educational process appears. Thus, approaches to teaching theoretical subjects in a foreign language must be updated in view of the need for a informative professional competence. The systematic use of the Internet for relevant practical, research, creative tasks will improve professional skills improvement, skills will form the search, selection and analysis of scientific material. Further research prospects seen in a detailed study of the experience of using online technology in teaching linguistic disciplines at leading universities abroad.

The peculiarities of formation of the information culture of students of polytechnic colleges are considered in the article. Different approaches to consider information culture were expressed. It is shown, that the determinative factor in achievement of the score aims of reforming the education is its informatization. The definition of «informatization of education» is given and approaches to construction of effective systems of informatization of education are described. The article tells us about the importance of modern information technologies in teaching students. It was found out the basic directions of using information technologies in the educational process as the way of the forming information culture of students of polytechnic colleges. The paper theoretically justified the need for a scientific nature of information culture, analyzed the status of research information culture, defined its essence and content. It is stressed that theoretical conditions improve personal information culture, defined the relationship of education and information culture in a global society. The peculiarities of formation of the information culture of students of polytechnic colleges are considered in the article. It is established that formation of the information culture of students of polytechnic colleges can be realized by leading out the communications, which carry out the semantic reproduction of society, to the leading position. The fundamental stages of formation of the information culture of a personality are opened. The role of a computer in the getting education is shown. The article highlights the potential of information and communication technology, possibility of Internet for formation of the information culture of a student. The perspective directions of development of the system of education are wide using of the modern communicative, informative and computer technologies and the Internet. Тhe paper deals with the communication and information competence correlation on the basis of intercultural dialogue and independent cognitive activity principles. Students have motivation for a cognitive activity and searching the extra information working through the Internet. It was noted that a student must have a certain level of culture on the action with the information for the effective use of new technologies and information sources that will contribute to a more productive assimilation of new knowledge and skills in the further development of informatization of society.

The essence of the “information society” concept is widely examined; the main tasks and peculiarities of informatization in modern education are analyzed; the information competence necessity for a modern teacher is proved; a role has been defined, the analysis of peculiarities has been made and the components of the information and communicative formation competence of future qualified employees have been identified, as well as the actions taken for its formation.

Idea „społeczeństwa informacyjnego” jest szeroko badana. Analizowane są główne zadania i szczególne cechy informatyzacji we współczesnej edukacji. Potwierdza się konieczność posiadania przez nowoczesnego nauczyciela kompetencji informatycznych. Zdefiniowano rolę, dokonano analizy cech szczególnych i zidentyfikowano komponenty kompetencji w zakresie informacji i formacji komunikacyjnej przyszłych wykwalifikowanych pracowników, a także działania podjęte w celu ich utworzenia.

The important role of primary school teachers’ systemic training to use the electronic linguomethodological tools in their professional activities is substantiated in the article. In this regard, the author considers it necessary to implement their own learning content of the electronic linguomethodological training. Firstly, author’s e-linguomethodological content includes educational and methodological manuals “Tools of the electronic linguomethodology for primary school” for bachelor’s level students. Its second component is the textbook “Electronic linguomethodology in universities” for master’s level students. Next – electronic educational-methodological complex of discipline “Methodology of teaching Ukrainian language” and three distance learning courses: “Methodoogy of teaching Ukrainian in primary school” for bachelor’s level students and “Methodology of teaching language in elementary school” and “Electronic linguomethodology in universities” for master’s level students. In the article the methodology of implementation of each component of author’s e-linguomethodological content in the future primary school teacher training in the university is revealed. The author argues that only systematic its application can ensure forming of a future primary school teachers’ readiness to use the electronic linguomethodological tools in their professional activity and this quality is urgently needed for a modern primary school teacher. In this article the author used complex of theoretical and empirical scientific research methods. Theoretical methods include: systematic analysis of philosophical, psychological, pedagogical and linguomethodological scientific literature about the future primary school teacher training; study, instructional and regulatory documentation for the pedagogues of the linguomethodological disciplines in the pedagogical universities; retrospective and evolutionary analysis of electronic linguomethodology, etc. Empirical methods are: monitoring of the educational process at the primary school and primary school teacher training faculties with the implementation of the components of the author’s e-linguomethodological content; interviews with students, primary school teachers and others.
