Autor charakteryzuje cechy współczesnej katechizacji dorosłych w świetle wezwania Kościoła do nowej ewangelizacji. W dokumentach Kościoła pisze się o pierwszorzędnym znaczeniu i funkcji katechezy dorosłych. Katecheza dorosłych wymaga zwołania wspólnoty eklezjalnej, która staje się łonem rodzącym i podtrzymującym wiarę. Zaangażowanie dorosłych chrześcijan w dojrzewanie wiary poprzez budowanie dojrzałej społeczności spełnia kluczową rolę w procesie nowej ewangelizacji. Dorosły jest głównym odbiorcą działań zbawczych Kościoła. Artykuł wskazuje najlepszy model formacji dorosłych oraz inne kwestie wpływające na skuteczność tej formy posługi Słowa, która pozostaje dziś ogromną szansą poradzenia sobie z wyzwaniami obecnego czasu.

In this article the author makes the characteristics of contemporary adult catechesis in the light of the Church's call for a new evangelization. The Church as the Christian community, who received from Jesus Christ's missionary mandate is required to care for adult Christians to live every day adult faith. Church admitted that the task of prime importance catechesis of adults. Adult Catechesis calls for a meeting of the ecclesial community, which is the womb of the nascent faith. The role of the community's help in finding a man's life the seeds of life and showing fruit of life through the testimony of participants in catechesis. The author believes that if the formation of adult Christians should lead to build a mature community, it must also admit adult crucial role in this process and make it the primary recipient of the action. This means recognizing someone as an adult more than the disciple, but partner through the development of a common faith. The catechumenal road is a proposal of a mature method of developing. In the formation of mature Christian we should also consider preparing for spiritual discernment and to contribute to the development of modern culture. The criterion of maturity in faith is the ability to undertake the evangelization of himself and others .

L’autore descrive caratteristiche contemporanee di catechesi degli adulti alla luce di chiamata della Chiesa per una nuova evangelizzazione. Nei documenti della Chiesa si sottolinea la primaria importanza e la funzione della catechesi degli adulti. Essa richiede la convocazione della comunità ecclesiale, che diventa seno nascente e sostenente della fede. Il coinvolgimento dei cristiani adulti nella maturazione della fede tramite la costruzione di una comunità matura gioca un ruolo chiave nella nuova evangelizzazione. Nella Polonia, insieme a una nuova situazione politico-sociale si è reso necessario a cercare nuove forme di evangelizzazione di un uomo moderno e la necessità di aprire nuovi spazi di evangelizzazione. Era necessario cambiare la pastorale corrente. Per molti decenni ha dominato la pastorale di massa. Attualmente, non se ne dimette completamente, ma riconosce la necessità di una pastorale sempre più individuale, specializzata, aperta ai laici e alla società. Una manifestazione di tali cambiamenti strutturali nella Polonia è l’apprezzamento e la presenza dei laici nella vita e l’attività della Chiesa. Allo stesso tempo, non vi è alcuna “nuova evangelizzazione” senza la “vecchia evangelizzazione”. Ogni evangelizzazione – “vecchia e nuova” ha senso ed è necessaria a meno che avvicini le persone al cielo. Questo dovrebbe essere un paradigma fondamentale dell’evangelizzazione. Sia nella Polonia che nel mondo, sforzo d’evangelizzazione dovrebbe procedere in questa direzione.

In Poland, along with a new social and political situation, it became necessary to seek new forms of evangelization in reaching out to modern people. It was necessary to change the current pastoral work. For many decades it dominated mass kind of working. Currently, the Church does not resign from it completely, but it recognizes the need for pastoral care more and more individual, specialized, open to the laity and nation. A manifestation of such structural changes in Poland is the appreciation and the presence of the laity in the life and activity of the Catholic Church. An expression of such involvement include public manifestations of their faith, courageous confessing to being witness of faith. There is a need to be presence at public space, mass media and socio-political structure of the state. Polish community needs brave professors, scholars, intellectuals, politicians who have no problem with admitting to the world of Christian values against political correctness in a modern world. We can say about new different areas of evangelization in Poland. Some theologians call them “basic areopags” of new evangelization. They are: first of all family, youth, education, professional work, culture, media, internet, social and political life, migration, ecumenism, new religious movements and communities, schools, the new evangelization parish . There is no "new evangelization" without the "old evangelization” .

W pierwszej części artykułu zostały wyjaśnione podstawowe pojęcia: apostolat, misja, ewangelizacja, nowa ewangelizacja. Pozwoliło to na stwierdzenie, że ewangelizacja stała się dziś najczęstszym i wszechobecnym określeniem działalności Kościoła w świecie. Następnie wskazano na jej niezmienną treść, którą jest Objawienie Boże. Autorzy podkreślili zasługi Jana Pawła II odnośnie do upowszechnienia terminu nowej ewangelizacji, a także ukazali jej ideę w liście apostolskim Benedykta XVI oraz Synodu Biskupów (2012). Odnosząc się do nauczania Kościoła artykuł podkreśla, iż nowa ewangelizacja pozostaje tematem wciąż żywym i aktualnym, o czym wielokrotnie przypomina również obecny papież, Franciszek.

In the first part of this article some basic terms like: the apostolate, the mission, the evangelization and the new evangelization have been explained. It allowed to conclude evangelization become the most common term of Catholic Church activity all around the globe. On the other hand the revelation of God, which has finally accomplished in Jesus Christ, is any content of new evangelization. The new evangelization cannot become just a new formal speech of salvation or be reduced and accommodated to contemporary times. Term of Generalization of new evangelization was introduced by John Paul II. In this article there are many references to the statement by the Polish Pope and his writings about new evangelization matter and also includes schedule specified specially for 2000-year-anniversary. Subsequently, the idea of new evangelization was shown. It refers to Ubicumque et semper apostolic letter by by pope Benedict XVI and synod of bishops. The pope paid attention to necessity of Catholic Church nature. The new evangelization matter remains actual nowadays and that is the reason to approximate about it. Pope Francis remind all catholic of “Church which sets out on the road” and forming a community of missionary of all listeners, who take the initiative, involve and companion to that community (EG24).

Nella prima parte del presente si sono spiegati i lemmi principali: l’apostolato, la missione, l’evangelizzazione, la nuova evangelizzazione. Questo ha permesso di dire che l’evangelizzazione è diventata il termine più comune e diffuso per descrivere l’attività della Chiesa nel mondo. Si è indicato che la rivelazione di Dio è il contenuto immutabile dell’evangelizzazione. Gli autori non solo hanno sottolineato i meriti di Giovanni Paolo II per quanto riguarda diffondere il lemma stesso, ma anche hanno descritto l’idea che ne è apparsa in Lettera Apostolica di Benedetto XVI e nei documenti del Sinodo dei Vescovi del 2012. Facendo riferimento alla dottrina della Chiesa si sottolinea che la nuova evangelizzazione resta un argomento ancora vivo e presente, cosa che ribadisce pure l’attuale papa, Francesco.

Autor wykazuje, iż współczesna katecheza powinna przyjąć charakter chrześcijańskiej inicjacji. To implikuje odejście od teoretycznego i doktrynalnego przekazu wiary na rzecz dowartościowania całości doświadczenia religijnego. Systematyczny wykład prawd wiary powinien być poprzedzony zaproszeniem do „zanurzenia” w tajemnicę dzieła zbawczego. Nie da się tego dokonać w szkolnym nauczaniu religii. W kontekście ciągle nasilającego się procesu laicyzacji należałoby równolegle do szkolnego nauczania lekcji religii wprowadzić katechezę parafialną, skoncentrowaną na ewangelizacji i mistagogii. Wiara jest bowiem fundamentem i warunkiem owocności wysiłków katechetycznych. W artykule postuluje się wprowadzenie deuterokatechumentatu jako właściwego modelu dzisiejszej katechezy, uzasadniając to twierdzenie.

Catechesis should be marked by Christian initiation and lead into both- the process of spiritual change as well as the salutary events of the Paschal mystery. Therefore it is advisable to abandon the idea of theoretical and fundamental preaching in favour of religious experience in general. Systematic doctrinal exposition of faith should be present only after invitation to ‘immersion’ in the mystery of work of redemption that cannot take place during religion lessons at school. Prevailing model of school catechumenate with its intellectual and sacramental style should be rejected. Otherwise it may contribute to distorting and reducing Christianity to tradition and folk rites as well as faulty identification of faith with religious outlook. Since laicization is still increasing it would be beneficial to, apart from school religion lessons, introduce simultaneous parish catechesis concentrated on evangelization and mystagogy. It would provide a necessary environment for the growth of faith that is a foundation and condition for fruitful catechetic efforts. With strong emphasis placed on the meaning of God’s Word, liturgy and sacraments deuterocatechumenate fulfils the fundamental functions of the Church (i.e. giving new believers to the Church and leading them to Christian adulthood) in a natural way and in accordance with the needs of present times.

L’autore mostra che la catechesi contemporanea dovrebbe adottare il carattere dell’iniziazione cristiana. Questo implica un allontanamento dalla trasmissione teorica e dottrinale della fede per poter apprezzare tutta l’esperienza religiosa. Esposizione sistematica delle verità della fede deve essere preceduta da un invito a “immersione” nel mistero dell’opera salvifica. E questo è tutt’altro che possibile nell’insegnamento scolastico della religione. Siccome il processo di laicizzazione si sta intensificando, affianco alle lezioni della religione dovrebbero esser realizzate le catechesi parrocchiali focalizzate su evangelizzazione e mistagogia. La fede, infatti, è il fondamento e presupposto per la fecondità degli sforzi catechetici. L’articolo suggerisce un deutero-catecumenato come il corretto modello della catechesi odierna, giustificando questa affermazione.
