Abstract. The analysis of time-space coordinates of an artistic work. in the circle of scientific interests of literary critics, is increasingly being analyzed from the second half of the twentieth century. M. Bakhtin's term for introduction to the interconnection of time and space coordinates of an artistic product today encompasses wider spectra of philological analysis of the text. After all, the chronotope is functionally associated with such concepts as plot and genre (plot-based and genre-specific functions), semantics of the text, mythopoetics, etc. Universals like "man", "time", "space" are necessary attributes of the semantic space of artistic text, since these categories organize the text (they perform the text-creation function). . In the article the author considers the key plot chronotopes - the chronotope of the meeting, the chronotope of the road, which is modified by the author - K. Trukhanovsky - into the chronotope of the labyrinth. The latter acquires specific features in the novel. The writer applied to mythologization and the magic properties of time-space measurements in the novel. Mythological and literary traditions are superimposed, as a result of which the author creates a complicated model of a labyrinthine novel. K. Trukhanovsky immerses the protagonist in the world of masks, forcing him to travel through the labyrinth of both his own soul and the quaint world of the City into which he falls.

This article is inspired by private research conducted by the author over the past few years. The study involved more than 600 students of WSE UAM in Poznan and WP WSPiA in Poznan. The article describes metaphor of the labyrinth. Labyrinth and its metaphor is known in cultures and religions for more than 4,500 years and is still strongly present in many. The main purpose of this study is to explore and show psychological, cultural and philosophical significance and importance of the labyrinth and its metaphors in the modern world - especially among young adults. The article is also a prelude to a discussion about the use of the metaphor of the labyrinth in therapy by art – especially horticultural therapy.

The article is devoted to the relationship between “the text of city” and the text of city guides (traditional, in the form of books; and electronic – professional and emerging en route, wandering through social media and mobile devices). The author uses a heuristic metaphor of the city as a maze and a palimpsest that is widely used in the current humanistic reflections on the city. It refers to the myth of Theseus and Ariadne: the former is considered a virtual figure, the latter is a viable form that holds the thread, the solution of the mysterious maze, and also its projection, which is a challenge for Theseus.

W labiryncie wolności i odpowiedzialności za słowo

Wolność i odpowiedzialność stanowią jeden z głównych problemów refleksji etycznej, dotyczących ontologicznych podstaw działalności ludzkiej ewidentnie zaświadczających o conditio humana człowieka, zwłaszcza o jakości jego człowieczeństwa. Poruszanie się w labiryncie między wolnością a odpowiedzialnością za słowo uwyraźnia awers i rewers złożoności współczesnych problemów. Rozważania w powziętej perspektywie aksjologicznej skłaniają do uznania, iż prawo do wolności słowa wyłącznie wtedy cokolwiek znaczy, kiedy człowiek przyjmuje odpowiedzialność, która – będąc trwale zakorzeniona w universum antroposferycznym – towarzyszy rozumnie pojętej conditio humana.

Freedom and responsibility constitute one of the basic issues of ethical reflection concerning ontological foundations for human activity which clearly testify to conditio humana of a human being and, especially, to the quality of his humanity. Moving around the maze between freedom and responsibility of speech emphasizes the obverse and reverse of the complexity of the contemporary problems. The deliberations in the adopted axiological perspective inclined one to recognize that the right to free speech is only of some value when a human being also takes the responsibility which – being permanently rooted in the anthroposherical universum - accompanies the rationally comprehended conditio humana.
