The article shows the analysis of social influence in the system of scientific content in the education of teachers and basic qualities of interaction at the present stage of education. The main method of research is general scientific methods (analysis of source materials of research, synthesis and interpretation of the results), which made it possible to determine the problems of impact on the formation of educational content of the teachers. Overall, the analysis led to the following conclusions. The development of a model of socio-cultural influences of the public will provide a constructive opportunity to measure objectively and more meaningful the quality of education. Society as a community is constantly changing and evolving and makes its inquiries into the curriculum, according to the leading vectors of social flowering. Also, the society as a community must organize and ensure the equality of conditions for the full realization of abilities of each person, the widest disclosure of his talent, all-round development and satisfaction of his universal spiritual values and a comprehensive, organic connection with national culture and history. The problem is that the content of education always lags behind the demands of society – community. So we have absolute contradiction between permanent, standardized legal framework curriculum (including pedagogical) and the rapid development of the system of public inquiries to education. Every citizen of the state has the right to education at public expense. Transparency in public relations education is one of the conditions of a democratic society. This in reality means the direct participation of all members of educational and pedagogical processes in the system of influences on the content and quality of the educational process. Quick purposeful processes of the development of the society make it priority to transfer system of knowledge accumulated by mankind cultural practices and social values, which is the direct task of education. The system of education itself as defined by National Doctrine of the Development of Education in Ukraine remains a priority. In connection with that there is natural strengthening of public influence on educational processes.

The article analyzes the theoretical foundations of professional competence of the modern teacher. The essence of the concepts “competence” and “competency” is revealed. In the research literature the term “competence” is interpreted as: the range of issues in which the person has knowledge and experience, or in which someone is knowledgeable; the range of issues that people are empowered to solve; the terms of reference, rights and duties of any body or official; the range of issues in which the official has knowledge and experience. The essential characteristic of the fundamental concepts of the study “professional competence of the modern teacher” is given. The components of professional competence are presented. The key competencies and competences are described. Key qualifications are classified depending on their functional affiliations into several groups. In each group there can be allocated functional, multifunctional and extra-functional qualifications, namely: general vocational key qualifications (vocational and practical knowledge and skills for a wide range of professions, general knowledge and skills of a wide profile); key cognitive skills (ability to independent thinking and learning, analysis, synthesis, transfer of knowledge and skills from one profession to another, skills of problem solving, evaluation, critical thinking, creativity); key psychomotor skills (general psychomotor skills: coordination, reaction speed, concentration, etc.); key personal skills(independence, responsibility, confidence, optimism, and the like); social ability (ability-oriented group behavior). It is proved that in the conditions of restructuring of the higher education system it is necessary to consider the set of key competences, competencies and qualifications, amongwhich a special place occupies professionalism of the expert, which is formed at the higher education institution. It is noted that the list of components of professional pedagogical competence is not exhaustive and requires further development and research.

The problem of identity formation of the modern teacher is one of the main components of the development of education in modern life. In the article the actual problem of identity-building in educational environments, as well as the development of effective methods of the modern teacher are revealed. The components of the creative potential of the individual, in particular: initiative; ability to move forward; self-confidence; the desire to make maximum use of the opportunities that have emerged; the persistence are characterized. It is stressed that native and foreign pedagogical science in general has managed to create the perfect personality, who is able to realize fully his/her creative potential. The scientists saw that such an individual has specific qualities, without which the potential just stagnate. Such a person has the following qualities: the desire for self-realization – it has become a necessity, and it seems a continuous process, during which the person is not happy with its results and strives to improve them; passion for the business as a vocation – such a person becomes a “fanatic” of his craft and devotes himself to professional activity; the authenticity of the individual – the desire to show the society its true face, not hide it behind masks and not be ashamed of somebody’s own abilities; independence of thought – the ability to make any opinion and turn it to the advantage, even if it is a criticism; confidence in somebody’s own abilities; individuality and flexibility – the ability to prove oneself as a producer of ideas in specific situations, execution and a deft adjustment of the actions under the already established goal and finding different ways to achieve the objectives better; criticality and a high degree of reflection. In general, all the components must be in harmony and complement each other, and it will become the driving force of creative potential of the personality. The person who can achieve certain results is able to fairly large actions, which will ultimately have an impact not only on the overall development of pedagogical science, but on the humanity as a whole.

The present poses unique challenges in education, but most importantly to form a new man, educated, competent, a patriot, a specialist in the chosen sphere. We completely agree with thee scientist V. Hnatyuk who claims that «to educate a citizen, a patriot, a humanist means to prepare the younger person to participate in solving urgent problems and future state». Modern school should complete this mission, because in spite of age, social and political changes the teacher’s role in forming the personality remains unchangeable. The paper reveals the essence of the most important and interrelated components that define the individuality of a teacher. The individuality component as a system of personally and professionally meaningful relationships and properties of a teacher’s individuality are generic features of an individual, revealing his attitude to the world and world’s treatment of him. These characteristics are being constantly improved by him. The scientists argue that individuality of a teacher is determined by social significance, obtained by him due to his work, professional skills, individual qualities, performance results, he is focused on spirituality – goodness, justice, freedom, love, faith, hope, dignity that constitute the principles of his professional activity and his whole life. The subjective component defines the level of self-determination and the method of self-realization of a teacher in the professionally meaningful environment. The teacher’s subjectivity is a social reality, a way of existence, life creativity that carries responsibility for the students’, the colleagues’ and country's destinies, for its own destiny and is based on the real basis of its internal forces. Individuality is an inimitable identity of a teacher, a set of inherent only to him special qualities, it manifests itself in his temperament features, character, interests specificity, in the peculiarities of activity and creativity. The teacher’s formation is a complex and long process of his self-determination, separation from the general to the universal, conversion into uniqueness and originality. For the teacher it means that only individuality can become a master of his craft. The specifics of the individuality of a teacher lies in the fact that this process is the development of a human person. The most significant characteristics of individuality is the creation of a new teacher based on the desire to feel and express their creative nature, the unique features of his personality, originality of pedagogical style, professionalism and desire to become a modern and well-known teacher.
