Aim. To determine and analyse motivating factors, which influence the education component of forming successful Ukrainian journalist students and their value orientations. Methods. The main research methods are observation, test, interview, questionnaire and analysis of scientific works. A set of diagnostic tools was used among which were the Dmitriy Leontyev’s Purpose-in-Life Test, which included three most vital life orientations: purpose of life, its eventfulness and self-realisation, and Milton Rokeach’s Value orientations questionnaire. For processing the data, the following analysis methods were used: processing of quantitative data by applying methods of mathematical analysis of statistical; Student’s t-test to compare medians of two independent samples; Spearman’s rank correlation; processing of qualitative data: content study and analysis, processing of the obtained data; quantitative and qualitative analysis. Results. The practical value of the research results consisted in determining modern value orientations and learning and professional motivation of the successful Ukrainian student-journalists as well as finding out that the profession of a journalist can be successful. Conclusion. It was identified that journalist education has a specific character, which should include motivating students to achieving success in learning and professional development. The study demonstrated that the future professional competency growth of the journalism students can be achieved with the development of their instrumental and terminal values. Some student’s success indicators were identified for implementing in the student professional training in order to motivate them to learning and professional efficiency and forming their system of value orientations.

Objectives: In light of the sudden transformations of today's society, characterized by instability of values, economic and production difficulties, job insecurity and traditional networks of belonging, the orientation of young people and in particular of all those who belong to the most fragile groups, becomes a "orientation across the board". Material and methods: Empowerment is a reinforcement strategy in the school for those with poor academic performance. In this sense, it is appropriate to promote a positive relationship climate that allows each young person to acquire their own interests, needs, values, potential and attitudes of their cognitive and emotional-emotional styles. And it is generally used in organizational development strategies and is decisive in the processes that concern the development of responsibility and potential. The most important empowerment in the school context is certainly the cognitive one, aimed at strengthening the mental abilities of the subject. Results: Favoring a positive, relaxed and empathic relationship climate can mean, encouraging pre-adolescents and adolescents, especially if immigrants, to a relational openness that would allow them to tell their experiences, their needs, their attitudes and ambitions; and also to know their difficulties which, if they are not overcome, lead to an early school leaving and therefore not an easy insertion in our society both from the point of view of work and of the integration process. Conclusions: With this contribution we want to highlight the significant anthropological and pedagogical value of the orientation for an effective contrast of the dispersive phenomenon and the possible solutions to promote an effective integration-inclusion process.

EN
The purpose of the paper is to describe the essence of orientation as an attribute of the terminological sign. The novelty of the research is determined by the fact that the nature of terminological orientation has been scarcely studied so far. The effectiveness of taking into account the specifics of orientation characteristics of the term both in analyzing the existing units of languages for specific purposes and in creating new scientific words makes the present work timely and necessary.

Mission statement is an element of the strategic management, the basis for the strategic development of university. Mission statement provides orientation and increases the motivation of the members of university. The results of the research prove that the mission statement of universities must be developed in an open discussion with the participation of the members of university. The most popular commitments of the mission statement are equal rights and opportunities for men and women, internationality, unity of research and teaching, quality assurance, interdisciplinarity. Analysis of the content of mission statements which were formulated during the last years shows that they propose a partnership relationship between the administration of university and its members.

PL

This article contains a method for classifying Data Envelopment Analysis models. Two main criteria i.e. orientation and returns to scale are used. These criteria enable distinguishing between oriented and non-oriented DEA models with constant and variable returns to scale. Basic properties of input oriented and output oriented DEA models with constant returns to scale are illustrated using an example of the CCR model. The BCC model is used to characterize the oriented DEA model with variable returns to scale. A graphical presentation of the efficiency frontier and the efficiency measure and primal and dual programming problems are presented for both types of models. In the article an additive model is considered as an example of a non-oriented DEA model. Moreover, other ways of classifying DEA models are also shown.

In the article it is shown that the pedagogical interaction between the teacher and the student belongs to current issues of the pedagogical science, which owns a number of ideas of cooperation, active, friendly, and therefore productive actions in the system «teacher – student». The essence of the concept of «educational interaction» as a system of mutual influence of the entities included into the common activities based on the professional education is revealed. It is shown that to the general psychological mechanisms of the educational interaction belong the following: a) teacher’s and students’ understanding the subject- and subject-object relations and b) teacher’s and students’ reconciling their own actions with the actions of each other. According to the personal characteristic interaction serves as a basis for uniting certain separate subjects into the collective subject of activity; and according to activity characteristic it serves as «actions exchange» using the subject-object-subject scheme. The interaction of the educational process subjects is understood as a multidimensional phenomenon, namely, as social, psychological and pedagogical, aimed at achieving the positive educational changes. The attention is drawn to the fact that the effectiveness of the teaching interaction will depend on the following conditions: 1) the perception of the individual as a personality with his own needs and interests; 2) identifying the interests of the partner, empathy to his success or failure; 3) recognizing the partner’s right to disagreement, to having his own mind, the right of behavior choice and the responsibility for his choice. The conclusion is made: 1) pedagogical interaction should manifest itself only in the form of cooperation after reaching by both parties mutual agreement and solidarity in the sense of joint activities and goals and ways of achieving them; 2) the essence of the pedagogical interaction is a direct or indirect influence of the subjects of this process on each other, generating their mutual connection; 3) the most important characteristic of personal interaction on teacher’s side is his ability to influence each other and produce real transformation in the cognitive, emotional and volitional and personal spheres.

In liberal societies it seems to be important to provide orientation by philosophizing at school. We are used to doing this by discussing classic ethics with our students. Here, skills like rational argumentation can be trained. It is the universal rationality that can be applied to different ethical issues and, thus, provide orientation. When it comes to this learning objective phenomenology and postmodernism are mostly not expected to provide assistance. Phenomenology might be seen as just dealing with perception whereas postmodernism is under suspicion for contributing to indecision, arbitrariness and relativism. In this article I will try to outline the potentials of phenomenology and postmodernism in the field of orientation. In the tradition of Husserl’s ‘epoché’ we can let students discover the perspective of a first person and what it means to be a ‘self’. Heidegger and Merleau-Ponty have not only described a certain closeness to the world which can be described as ‘dwelling’ of a lived body. They have also delineated elements of a new ‘postmetaphysical’ and at the same time ‘prehermeneutical’ metaphysics. All this can help to open the depth of self, life, and world. Postmodern thinkers claim a plurality of truths. By this means, these theories can encourage self-empowerment. At the same time, authors like Lévinas (responsibility for the other), Lyotard (the sublime), and Rorty (solidarity) describe new ways of openness towards the world which are not founded by any primal truth and thus provide orientation.

Interaction orientation reflects the ability of a company to interact with the individual customer and to gather information from successful interactions. Four dimensions of interaction orientation are identified in the literature: customer concept, interaction response capacity, customer empowerment and customer value management (Ramani and Kumar, 2008). This study shows that indeed a fifth dimension of interaction orientation exists and investigates the determinants, moderators and consequences of this construct. The first notable finding is that B2B companies exhibit a greater degree of interaction orientation than B2C firms. Ramani and Kumar hypothesized that in their study. We show that there are B2C industries such as financial services, whose companies also have a greater interaction orientation. This could be the reason why the authors could not prove their hypothesis. Furthermore, we examine the influence of strategic orientations on organizational performances and compare various orientations with each other.

The paper offers a theological study on the attitude of caDDîq toward Yahweh on the grounds of selected psalms (Pss 15; 19B; 24; 73; 101; 119) from The Book of Psalms. Keeping of commandments is the notae of caDDîq, the mark of the one who is allowed to enter the Yahweh’s sanctuary. In the ceremony of the «liturgy of the gate» the Israelites are interrogated about their righteousness (Pss 15 and 24), because only the righteous have privilege to sojourn in the holy place and to look forward to His saving intervention in their time of need. In relation to his neighbor, the righteous displays his commitment which is the vital part of the Old Testament view on righteousness. As the representative of Yahweh, in his life the king demonstrates features of a righteous person (Ps 101). Like God himself, the king expels from his life area the wicked and upholds the correct administration of «liturgy of the gate» in the state sanctuary. It is desirable to him to be surrounded by the righteous that He esteems and that He champions respect for their dignity and for their rights. The righteous have nothing in common with the way of thinking, talking, and living of the wicked (Pss 1; 119). The Torah of Yahweh is his biggest love and his object of continual reflection. Psalm 119 enunciates fervidness of those who find constant delight in His Torah. Although the righteous sometimes can express indignation and be angry at prosperity of the wicked, yet in Yahweh he can find the answer to the most pivotal questions (Ps 73). To trust in Yahweh, to commit his way to divine guidance, to look forward to Him, and to nurture intimate community with Him, all of these provide the righteous with inner balance, are opening his eyes on grandeur of Yahweh’s presence, and are leading him to overcoming the most difficult crises of his faith. The wicked build their houses with cards, which will be demolished by an unexpected blast of God’s wrath. Instead of their suffering the righteous experience in Yahweh nearness of His presence and certainty of being taken into glory in the future.
