Speaking one's own language, in the sense of linguistic indications of one's separateness or uniqueness, versus total submersion in the amalgam of crowd opinion are two borderline situations. Idealization, however, does not abolish the research problem. What is one's own distinct voice, what constitutes originality of thought, in the midst of linguistic tradition? In philosophy, or in poetry? Hence the question: can distinct philosophical thinking be born in the Polish language? Philosophical thought is not born as a result of technical procedures, plans, or tasks to be accomplished. Thought is something different from research projects. Its coming requires the persistence of waiting, listening, and refraining from closing the issue. Silence and listening are the conditions in which thought is born.

Poszukiwanie dobrej administracji nie jest jedynie wynikiem intelektualnej ciekawości, ale raczej konieczności praktycznej natury. Konieczności, bowiem już dzisiaj powszechnie wiadomo, że sposób funkcjonowania administracji był i nadal pozostaje jednym z najpoważniejszych czynników wpływających zarówno na sposób funkcjonowania gospodarki oraz poziom jej rozwoju, jak i na kształt społeczeństwa. Szczególnie istotnego znaczenia nabiera zadanie poszukiwania dobrej administracji w realiach polskich, ponieważ od samego początku naszej transformacji decydenci skoncentrowali się raczej na przemianie i doskonaleniu gospodarki, a nieomal całkowicie zapoznali problem przebudowy administracji. Głównym celem artykułu jest wykazanie, iż rozumienie pojęcia dobrego administrowania jest pochodną obowiązującej w danym okresie etyki. A jeśli tak, to konieczne staje się włączenie elementów etyki do nauki i praktyki administracji, pozwoli to bowiem na pełniejsze i doskonalsze wypełnianie przez administrację jej istotowej funkcji. Do istoty administracji w jej współczesnym rozumieniu należy niewątpliwie: pełnia komunikacji społecznej (stąd rola etyki komunikacyjnej) oraz odpowiedzialność administracji za harmonijny rozwój społeczny (stąd rola etyki odpowiedzialności).

Looking for good administration is not only the result of intellectual curiosity, but rather of a very practical necessity. The necessity - because it is a well know truth today that the way of administration functioning was, and still remains, one of the key factors affecting both the economy - its functioning and level of development - and the shape of the society. Hence the special meaning of the task of looking for good administration in the Polish reality, where, right from the beginning of the transformation, the decision makers focused on modifying and improving the economy, almost completely forgetting about the need to restructure administration. The main aim of the article is to prove that the understanding of the idea of good administration is a derivative of the ethics of a given period. And if so, it becomes obligatory to include the elements of ethics to the science and the practice of administration as this will allow for a more full and better fulfilment of administrations essential function. The essential parts of administration in its contemporary understanding undoubtedly are the completeness of social communication (hence the role of communication ethics), as well as administrations responsibility for harmonious social development (hence the role of ethics of responsibility).

The article deals with the conceptualization of the moral values. They have been considered through the prism of the evolution of values from the times of an ancient Chinese philosophical thought to the heyday of modern Ukrainian philosophical ideas. The existence of the values in the Ukrainian poetic space has been also researched. The emphasis has been placed on the linguistic aspects of creativity of artists, who distinguish the images of women among other valuable values in society. It has been determined, with the help of which language expressive means, a woman's image is differentiated in the works of V. Boyko and other masters of artistic word.

Artykuł dotyczy konceptualizacji wartości duchowych. Są one rozpatrywane przez pryzmat ewolucji wartości od czasów starożytnej chińskiej myśli filozoficznej do rozkwitu współczesnych ukraińskich idei fi lozofi cznych. Badaniu poddano również system wartości w ukraińskiej przestrzeni poetyckiej. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na językowe aspekty kreatywności artystów, które wyróżniają wizerunki kobiet wśród innych cennych wartości w społeczeństwie. Określono środki stylistyczne, za pomocą których wizerunek kobiety jest zróżnicowany w twórczości W. Bojki i innych mistrzów słowa artystycznego.
