The article concisely analyses the Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information (EESSI) – a platform for communication introduced by the European Commission in 2017 in order for institutions from EU Member Stated to connect to. The national access point was implemented in Poland in 1 July 2019. The article describes the advantages of a new platform, as well as challenges for EESSI.
