From the beginning of the 90s the number of vehicles traveling on Polish roads has been systematically growing. Statistics clearly indicate this – in 1990, the number of vehicles was over 9 million, while in 2017, it exceeded 29 million registered vehicles. It should also be emphasized that it is important that in the majority, these vehicles are not new – the average age of vehicles according to the Central Register of Vehicles is 13 years. The above phenomenon has a negative impact on road safety. The condition of road safety is also not improved by the condition of road infrastructure, the dynamically increasing traffic load on many road sections and the small capacity reserves caused by the constantly increasing number of vehicles. In order to confirm the thesis on the importance of the problem of road safety, the fact is that every year on Polish roads there are over 32000 accidents and over 420,000 collisions, in which at least 2,800 people are killed. This article is a synthesis of research conducted over the traffic which presents the results of research, which aimed to assess factors influencing the perception of traffic safety by its participants. The collected surveys allowed to indicate factors which, in the opinion of respondents, contribute the most to the occurrence of traffic incidents and the lack of safety on roads.

The article describes the second phase of the work of the centre “SKIF”, which is aimed at stimulation of the leading physical qualities of pupils with sensory impairments. The attention is focused on defining their development factors as well as methods and means that solve remedial and sports challenges. The following research methods were used: theoretical – analysis of special pedagogical literature on the identified problem; practical – leading preparatory-training-remedial stage of work with children at the centre “SKIF”, empirical – calculations and comparative characteristics of the results. Throughout this stage in order to improve technology, enhance training effects and facilitate the integration of children with sensory impairments, experts in the field of physical culture practice repeated exercise. Their selection, the regulation of the duration and intensity determine the nature and degree of impact on the body of pupils, and develop their abilities. It is concluded that correctional-developing component of the pedagogical activities of the centre “SKIF” is closely connected with teaching children with sensory motor impairments and impairments in the development of motor skills. Therefore, at the second – preparatory-training-correction stage a complex of sports and remedial and rehabilitation activities is carried out, during which considerable attention is paid to the formation of high physical or athletic skills and achievement or to improving performance in the indoor football due to competitive activity. This puts high demands on the physical and psychological fitness of a footballer with a disability, so children playing indoor football and doing other kinds of sports activities in the centre “SKIF”, work on individual correction-rehabilitation programs. Each section shows the close connections of education, upbringing, correction of the broken functions and rehabilitation after physical loads. All measures in the frames of the programs provide comprehensive physical, mental and moral development of pupils. Prospects for further research in this direction are seen in the improvement of correction-rehabilitation and health-protection stages of the activities of the centre “SKIF”

The article aims at studying scientific and educational literature that highlights some issues of physical self-actualization of students during sambo classes, as well as its impact on the development of physical skills and coordination abilities of fighters. The research methods are the following: analysis of scientific and educational literature on general and special physical training of an unarmed self-defense sportsman, systematization and synthesis of information received; methods of observation, introspection, self-esteem, which are used in a student’s physical self-actualization. The article considers some questions of physical self- actualization of students during sambo classes and briefly presents the main stages of the structure of student’s self-actualization in the development of the main physical qualities of an unarmed self-defense sportsman. Based on scientific sources there have been described such fighter’s physical qualities as speed, agility, endurance, strength, flexibility, and some exercises contributing to their development are given. Due attention is focused on the importance of coordination skills when performing techniques. Modernized Cossack complex exercises that promote strength, courage, agility, speed and the ability to instantly calculate the time by an unarmed self-defense sportsman and quickly act in unexpected situations are recommended, and one can find a detailed description of the exercises "Grasshopper" and "Skipjack". In the process of the study the authors concluded that engaging in sambo, a student passes a cycle of comprehensive development and multiple testing of his will, tenacity, workability, promotes persistence in achieving goals, self-discipline, self-control of feelings and emotions. He becomes mature and courageous, ready to defend the Fatherland. He also realizes that to defeat a rival in sambo one must perfectly possess many physical qualities, which can only be achieved through constant hard and purposeful powerful self-actualization. Physical student’s self-realization promotes good health of his organs and systems, increases their functionality, development of motor skills, and improves coordination abilities. Based on the analysis of scientific sources, the authors define sambo as one of the foreground ways of student’s physical self-actualization.

Based on literature in the field, the article examines the impact of the time factor on the international experience and level of internationalization of companies. The author seeks to identify the role of time in research on the internationalization of companies. The article is based on a critical analysis of research studies on the internationalization of companies, with a special focus on process models, a network approach to internationalization, and reports on accelerated internationalization. In particular, the author deals with research reports on the time and speed of internationalization. The article presents a number of proposals concerning the role of time in research on the internationalization of companies. These are linked with increased experience in business operations on foreign markets, the speed of internationalization, and the relationship between the time and level of internationalization. The author finds that, in order to better understand the process of internationalization, it is necessary to include the time factor in the theory of internationalization. Ratajczak-Mrozek argues that the relationship between time and an increase in a company’s experience abroad is complex and non-linear. The same is true of the relationship between the time and level of internationalization, the author says. She adds that the level of internationalization should be determined on the basis of comprehensive measurements taking into account resources involved at various levels of a company’s operations. Measurements of the speed of internationalization should take into account the speed of the whole process, and not be limited to the speed of a company’s entry into foreign markets the author argues. This is particularly important for the study of “born global” companies, Ratajczak-Mrozek notes.

Celem artykułu jest weryfikacja na podstawie literatury przedmiotu zależności pomiędzy czasem a doświadczeniem zagranicznym i poziomem umiędzynarodowienia przedsiębiorstwa oraz wskazanie znaczenia konceptualizacji pojęcia czasu i związanego z nim tempa w badaniach nad internacjonalizacją przedsiębiorstw. Rozważania przeprowadzono wykorzystując krytyczną analizę literatury z zakresu internacjonalizacji przedsiębiorstw koncentrując się na modelach procesowych, podejściu sieciowym do umiędzynarodowienia oraz literaturze z zakresu przyspieszonej internacjonalizacji. W szczególności uwzględniono badania dotyczące czasu i tempa internacjonalizacji przedsiębiorstw. W artykule przedstawiono wiele wniosków dotyczących czasu w badaniach nad internacjonalizacją przedsiębiorstw związanych kolejno z przyrostem doświadczenia w działalności na rynkach zagranicznych, tempem internacjonalizacji oraz związkiem między czasem a poziomem internacjonalizacji przedsiębiorstw. Wskazano, że, aby uzyskać większe zrozumienie procesu internacjonalizacji przedsiębiorstw, niezbędne jest włączenie czasu explicite do teorii umiędzynarodowienia. Wykazano, że zarówno zależność pomiędzy czasem a przyrostem doświadczenia zagranicznego przedsiębiorstw, jak i czasem a poziomem ich umiędzynarodowienia jest kompleksowa i nielinearna. Ponadto w zakresie samego pomiaru istotne jest, aby poziom internacjonalizacji wyznaczać na podstawie miar kompleksowych uwzględniających zasoby zaangażowane na różnych płaszczyznach funkcjonowania firmy. Z kolei badania nad tempem internacjonalizacji powinny uwzględniać zarówno pomiar tempa podjęcia działalności zagranicznej, jak i tempa całego późniejszego procesu umiędzynarodowienia, co ma szczególne znaczenie dla badań nad przedsiębiorstwami born global.

Transparency is one of physical esthetic categories that are used to describe literature and other arts. The main aim of this paper is to show how those esthetic categories are used on three levels: esthetic, performatively dramatic and philosophical in modern literature, theater, film and fine arts. The starting point for those considerations are methods of Italo Calvino (“American lectures”) and Marek Bieńczyk (his collection of essays titled “Transparency”) . Calvino’s category of “transparency” (in his attempt to go beyond anthropocentric cognition with the author’s main question: “Is imagination an instrument of cognition?”) is contrasted with Marek Bieńczyk’s term of “transparency”, who has pointed out the positive aspects of paintings (which are not only giving a feeling of emptiness but also provide certainty of clarity and obviousness). In addition to these categories, lucidity and glassiness are featured and a crystal structure is summoned in  the context of mistiness as its opposition.

Celem niniejszego badania jest sprawdzenie wpływu ćwiczeń z przeskakiwaniem przez prze-szkody z drążkiem, szybkim przeskakiwaniem przez przeszkody bokiem oraz bocznych przesko-ków przez przeszkody na zwinność, szybkość, siłę i siłę eksplozywną mięśni nóg. Badana grupa składała się z 33 studentów, którzy uczestniczyli w turnieju badmintona zorganizowanego przez FIO UNESA (Universitas Negeri Surabaya). W badaniach zastosowano metodę badania ilościowe-go w powiązaniu z metodami quasi-eksperymentalnymi. Wyniki pokazały, że grupa I miała wzmoc-nienie siły kończyn dolnych o 2,89, szybkość o −0,003, zwinność 0,1 i siłę eksplozywną mięśni nóg o 1,42. Grupa II miała siłę kończyn dolnych zwiększoną o −1,04, szybkość o 0,09, zwinność −0,19 i siłę eksplozywną mięśni nóg o 0,85, a grupa III miała siłę mięśni kończyn zwiększoną o 0,43, szybkość o 1,18, zwinność o 0,36 i siłę eksplozywną nóg o 0,71. Można zatem wnioskować, że te trzy ćwiczenia wpłynęły na zwinność, siłę i siłę eksplozywną mięśni nóg.

The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of hurdle box drill with the stick, jump and speed hurdle lateral, and lateral hurdle jump exercises on agility, speed, strength, and explosive power of leg muscles. The sample group of the study consisted of 33 students who participated in badminton FIO UNESA. The methodology used was quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods. The result showed that group I had enhancement on the muscular strength of the limbs for 2.89, speed for −0.003, agility 0.1 and leg muscle explosive power for 1.42. Group II had the strength of the lower limbs for −1.04, speed 0.09, agility −0.19 and leg muscle explosive power 0.85 and group III had limbs muscle strength increased for 0.43, speed 1.18, agility 0.36 and leg muscle explosive power 0.71. Therefore, it can be concluded that these three exercises affected the agility, speed, strength and explosive power of leg muscle.
