The article is an attempt to introduce relationships between hermeneutics, pedagogy and psychoanalysis. The essential issue under consideration is the interpretation of topological figures as a particular tool allowing to perceive hermeneutics from the subject’s clinic perspective. The key importance for pedagogy here is the indication that both hermeneutics and psychoanalysis have a cognitive value recognising the subject in categories which exceed the traditional subject narratives, formulated from the perspective of the hermeneutic circle.

This review study analyses Martin Nitsche’s monograph devoted to Heidegger’s Contributions to philosophy (Beiträge zur Philosophie), primarily addressing the question of whether Nitsche succeeds in displaying the phenomenological character of the Contributions. It identifies a key step in Nitsche’s interpretation; that is, Heidegger’s shift from emphasising the specific entity of Dasein to emphasising the distinctive “phenomenological” or “relational field”, which is understood as an “ontological locality”. The study focuses on the question of whether it is possible, subsequent to this shift, to preserve the phenomenological character of (Heidegger’s) thought, and it arrives at a negative conclusion in this regard: Heidegger does not offer a phenomenological description - nay, he presents a conceptual, or perhaps even narrative, structure, in which he lays claim to the possibility of speaking from a principled position of (the experienced) “enowning”.

Ancient mathematics concerned itself with shapes, numbers and their relations, at rest and in motion. Not until modern geometry were shapes replaced by space. In this article I deal with the late thought of Petr Vopěnka: the return to shapes, intuition and his reflection of the history of mathematics in connection with phenomenological philosophy. I point to how, in his approach, shape conveys that which is beyond the horizon. Last but not least, I explore the relation of the mathematical and of shape to the phenomenality of the face, body and the other.

The author puts forward a chain of related notes in his attempt to achievetwo different goals. On the one hand, he tries to remain faithful to both the styleand the intentions of Deleuze while, on the other, tracing the trajectory of difference. The latter is about showing the possibility an alternative reading of phenomena andparadoxes discussed in The Logic of Sense. This fundamental intuition of alternativereading is connected with the identification of the logical disjunction with trauma, understood in the psychoanalytical tradition. This leads to the possibility of buildinga bridge between ‘logical’ and ‘psychoanalytical’ series of Deleuze’s book and toencompass both of them in a single topological space of thinking.

Tekst, przedstawiony w formie notatek z lektury, stawia sobie dwa cele. To utożsamieniepozwala, zgodnie z intencją autora tekstu, przerzucić pomost pomiędzy seriami „logicznymi” a „psychoanalitycznymi”, zamknąć je w jednej topologii.

The article deals with the current state of narrative and narrativity in the situation of new media. After a short reflection on the transmediality of contemporary narrative (through the concept of media object of Axel Bruns) we comment on the changes of viewership in the „Netflix Era“, and the situation of participatory media. The core of the article describes a wiki website TVTropes and its concept of „trope“. In the TVTropes environment, unaffected by academic literary theory (as far as it seems from the stated sources), a „trope“ stands for a frequently recognized part of a story, and not a figure of speech, and thus is much closer to the object of E. R. Curtius „topology“. In the end, we reflect on the possible consequences or benefits of the conceptual shift described.

City of Lodz is an exceptional case of industrialsettlement, a focal point of di}erent kinds and techniquesof power typical for nineteenth century industrial capi-talism. Disciplinary power parceling bodies, biopowerproviding with population stability, paternalistic gaze ofthe factory owner and monarchic sovereignty of the tsa-rist rule once met in the Scheibler and Grohman’s indu-strial establishment and nearby workers’ housing estate.{is peripheral capitalism and relations accompanyingit let us verify Foucaultian analysis of power and have anew look at it. Di}erent and less stable pattern of corre-lation of power techniques emerges here; power is nolonger strictly related to the temporal matrix or a func-tional demands of capitalist production, and temporarilyossi/es in relocated and contingent con/gurations. It isan implicit illustration of a new paradigm of power ana-lysis, which Foucault presented when his interest was notan industrial city any more, namely the „topologicalanalysis”, as S. J. Collier aptly called it.

Łódź stanowi wyjątkowy przykład miasta przemysłowego, w którym skoncentrowały się różne rodzaje i mechanizmy władzy typowe dla przemysłowego kapitalizmu dziewiętnastego wieku. Dyscyplinarna władza precyzyjnie parcelująca ciała, władza nad biologicznym życiem zapewniająca populacyjną stabilność, paternalistyczne spojrzenie właściciela i monarchiczna suwerenność caratu spotkały się w łódzkiej fabryce Zakłady Włókiennicze K. Scheiblera i L. Grohmana i towarzyszącym jej kompleksie osiedla robotniczego Księży Młyn.
