The article deals with the model of learning in late adulthood. The model is based on a wide range of literature on the learning process among the elderly, shaping their wisdom in late adulthood and successful ageing. Moreover, the model is largely based on both Peter Jarvis’s theory and the concept of wisdom presented by Monika Ardelt.

W artykule opisany został model uczenia się człowieka w okresie późnej dorosłości. Model powstał w oparciu o przegląd literatury dotyczącej tematu uczenia się osób starszych, kształtowania mądrości w okresie późnej dorosłości oraz tematu pomyślnego starzenia się. W dużej mierze opiera się na teorii Petera Jarvisa, a także koncepcji mądrości autorstwa Moniki Ardelt.

The objective of the paper is providing an answer to the question about educational dimensions of dreams-self-narrations in biography of senior individuals. In the theoretical part, the authoress focuses on analyses concerning respectively: trajectory of individual biographies and characteristics of dreams as self-narrations in structuring one’s own biography. In the methodological part, the authoress presents the assumptions of a research project based on the biographical method by applying narrative interviews. In the empirical part, results of vertical and horizontal analyses are presented in the form of the worked out biographical profiles in the context of highlighted areas of study

Celem artykułu jest udzielenie odpowiedzi na pytanie o edukacyjny wymiar marzeń w autonarracji biograficznej człowieka w trzecim wieku. W części teoretycznej autorka skupia uwagę na analizach dotyczących odpowiednio: trajektorii biografii człowieka i charakterystyki marzeń jako autonarracji w konstruowaniu własnej biografii. W części metodologicznej prezentuje założenia projektu badawczego w oparciu o metodę biograficzną z zastosowaniem wywiadów narracyjnych. W części empirycznej przedstawia wyniki analizy wertykalnej i horyzontalnej w postaci opracowanych profili biograficznych w kontekście zakreślonego obszaru badawczego.
