Through different Leonardo da Vinci projects in the period 2005-2010 new pedagogical principles for organizing and delivering more cost- and time-efficient blended learning and training has been developed. This model may lead to new synergies for effective and pedagogical inclusion of state of the art high quality real-time visual collaboration tools into current training principles with a combination with Learning Design Tools such as LAMS. The basis for this framework has been a new pedagogical methodology for the training of the students themselves, named Activity Based Training (ABT). It was found that by using LAMS as a design tool, the teacher has to reflect on the activities introduced to the students in a structured and logical manner. In this way the structural facilities in LAMS fits the structure needed in the ABT methodology. Mechanical industries utilize traditional training methodologies by separating theoretical learning and training from practical training of skills. In such a pedagogical framework hands-on practice comes after the theoretical content descriptions. Activity Based Training (ABT) is closely connected to practical production activities. The training follows the same steps or phases as the industry follows when producing a product. It is then structured logically by giving the students a set of job orders which is broken down into job packages. However, drawing on previous experience based on the framework developed, new ideas will now be exploited and tested in a new set of course developments and frameworks for courses during 2009 – 2010.

Project Common Vocational Training to Master in the Baltic Sea Region (MASTER BSR) was approved in the Erasmus + Key Action 2 Strategic Partnerships Innovation-Transfer Project. It has started 1st of September 2015 and is planned to end in August 2018. The total project budget is 420 460 € and is fully refunded from the Erasmus + Programme funds. The lack of entrepreneurs is particularly high in countries with predominantly school-based vocational training and deficits of further vocational training. SMEs in countries with pre-dominantly school-based vocational training are also in need of professionals with educational and trainer qualifications to accomplish the training within the company, when applying the dual vocational training model. The project is aimed to train company successors, entrepreneurs and managers in the Baltic Sea Region, based on a relatively high-level master qualification system. Another aim is to increase the efficiency and the competitiveness of SMEs by promoting the realization of the dual vocational training. On the basis of the German master craftsman training and the experience of further Baltic Sea Region countries, a concept for unified master training for the entire Baltic Sea Region has been developed.

The idea of life-long education and self-improvement relates also to educating the “perpetrators” of education, namely teachers. The European Union is a witnesses to a discussion about teachers’ competences and qualifications. The European Commission has suggested common European principles referring to the profession of teacher and education models. The Polish teacher education system is fully compatible with the requirements of the European educational policy. However, in the opinion of teachers it does not solve all the problems and does not completely fulfill their educational needs. For this reason, nonprofit organizations have addressed teacher’s expectations and fulfilled a gap created in the teacher education system. How have they managed? This paper will deal with this question. It presents a non-profit organization from Lower Silesia that, in the years 2009-2014, completed five projects with a total value of PLN 2,464,136.79, for the benefit of 1321 teachers working in the area of Lower Silesia Province. The presented article supplements the deficiencies in scientific literature which is characterized by the lack of complex scientific publications focused on the assessment of the suitability of teacher education by non-profit organizations in light of both Polish and European requirements

Aim. In Turkey, in connection with the Bologna process, German is also taught in Turkish universities as an elective course. There is an important relationship between the selection of the subject in the elective German courses, detailed planning of the courses, and the implementation of the appropriate method. In this study, the subject of professions was planned for the elective German courses. The purpose of this study is the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a sample lesson to describe the selection of the subject of professions for the German course taught as an elective course in the universities. Concept and Methods. This study was conducted by qualitative research. The document research technique was used in the study (Yıldırım & Şimşek, 2008). During the 2018/2019 academic year, I taught about the subject of profession selection in my German courses. I prepared, implemented and evaluated the subject of professions according to the lesson planning model I had previously developed (Coşkun, 2018). I prepared the materials used in this course according to this model. Result and Conclusion. The success of the lesson planning model mentioned above was also observed in the activities conducted earlier. It was also seen that the students who attended German courses in connection with the Bologna process exerted efforts in establishing contact with the instructor and the students attending the class. It was observed that the participants introduced themselves, mentioned the field or the branch in the university where they were studying, and were interested to gain experience abroad in order to be successful in their professions. In addition to the subject discussed in the class, the method implemented in the lesson and the planning of the lesson according to the method, play an important role in the continuation of this interest. Therefore, effective lesson planning models and unique methods should be developed. Origin. Students from all the departments of the university may attend the elective German language classes opened in connection with the Bologna process. The condition for participation in the courses “German for Erasmus” and “German for Communication” which I teach, is to learn German at the A1 level. It is frequently observed that the participants speak German at different levels. The overseas experience of the participants, the quality of the German and other language education they had received from primary to high school and university play an important role in this. In the recent years, the number of participants from German and other foreign language speaking countries has increased. The students who had been in German-speaking countries under the Erasmus program participate in the German courses also to maintain their fluency in the German language. In order to execute the German courses effectively for different purposes, for different fields and participants coming from different countries and students with different levels of fluency, a suitable method should be developed. It is believed that this inter-disciplinary study will contribute to the active German courses.

At a time of high unemployment rate among youth and a continued lack of conformity between trends in education and demands voiced by employers, attention is drawn to the so-called dual education, viz. instruction conducted in parallel (alternately) at school and at the workplace – a system highly valued in the EU for enhancing the opportunities of youth on the job market. Vocational training of youth employees, which is the Polish model of dual education, is in nearly 80% conducted by crafts and trades enterprises. The object of the article is to present the role of the Greater Poland crafts and trades in the process of personnel training. In the last 25 years a decline in the vocational training in largescale industry has been observed in Poland. In this situation the local economic boards of crafts and trades chambers as a sector of small and medium-sized production and service enterprises assumed responsibility for training human resources for the national economy. Research done among graduates of vocational training in crafts and trades enterprises and among master craftsmen who performed the training as part of a project called “Socially responsible crafts and trades” implemented by the Greater Poland Chamber of Crafts and Trades, confirmed the observation that dual education is a gateway to permanent employment in professions which are in demand on the job market.

The aim of this paper is to analyse affective and motivational factors during the didactic process within the bachelor studies of “Applied Spanish language”. According to the data collected, a motivational crisis can be observed when students reach the communicative level of Spanish. On the contrary, motivation does not drop in translation classes, while the main problem is low self-efficacy along with high anxiety then facing a translation task. My conclusions point at the renewal of quality conception by reformulating teaching curricula as vocational training. As for the recommended methodology, I propose simultaneous teaching of linguistic and translation skills, according to the principle of co-emergence of competencies, based on students’ autonomy, respect and taking advantage of students’ experience and personal goals.

The article describes essential observations and research analysis which resulted from joint actions between educators of penitentiary training centers in Poland and Norway. This is a summary of the report The effects of bilateral cooperation between Polish and Norwegian penitentiary education centers (Andersen et al., 2015). Training schemes in the prison services touch very peculiar areas of education, where there are not many researches describing this subject, and even fewer comparisons describing tasks and training models of two penitentiary systems. Thus this paper presents the research which is probably being the only one joint attempt of examining two systems of trainings for prison service in Poland and Norway. The general conclusion resulting from the researched material is that the use of e-learning in Norwegian penitentiary system trainings is backed up by greater experience which is obviously noticeable, while the respondents of both penitentiary institutions have the same and decent views about blended-learning.

Formation of the teacher of a new type – conceiving, initiative, comprehensively informed, capable to use modern educational technologies – can be successful if future a expert who is already in the course of study will be put in the conditions which are brought closer to his professional activity. Today, according to the definitions of scientists (A. Verbitsky, V. Zagvyazinsky, M. Levina, O. Pekhota, O. Savchenko, S. Smirnov, D. Chernilevsky), the main objective of education consists in formation in students of ability to vigorous activity, his including to creative professional activity. In this regard special value gets the process of the choice of methods of study among which the important place is taken by methods of interactive study which are based on situations of professional activity. The case method (the analysis of concrete situations) at the heart of which, – studying, the analysis and decision-making, in a situation which has resulted from certain events, real situations is one of them. The organization of cognitive activity of students constructed on the analysis of concrete situations of the future professional activity is one of the most active forms of occupation. The solution of pedagogical tasks, the analysis of concrete situations, is considered as an active method of study which gives the chance as much as possible to bring students closer to real pedagogical activity. The value of these methods is that they give the chance to reproduce a context of a concrete situation of professional activity in an educational situation. Contextual study, by A. Verbitsky, is the form of active study oriented at vocational training which is realized by gradual use of a professional context, saturation of educational process, elements of professional activity. In the article different approaches to classification of pedagogical situations which can be used in vocational training of future teachers are analyzed. The use of the following situations is the most effective, in our opinion: micro situations, situations-illustrations, situations-problems, pedagogical tasks as they give the chance to develop pedagogical thinking and oral broadcasting of future teachers, to learn to see in the concrete phenomenon its general pedagogical essence, a problem which needs the decision, to consider it and to provide logically reasonable, clear and accurate expression of the solution of this situation.

Profiling students in sport in the modern system of education can be the key to the formation of a harmonious personality with high level of development of physical qualities of students, the appropriate level of intelligence and patriotism. The current status of physical education in school does not fully prepare healthy and educated member of society, who could choose the future profession due to the profile direction during training in secondary schools. The approach to the introduction of special courses on sport in the educational process of students is proposed in the article. The aim of the sports of specialized education is the implementation education tasks, as well as providing opportunities for equal access of young people who are not involved in sports, to obtain the General education core and the initial pre-professional preparation in physical education. The profile sports classes must combine the implementation of General educational objectives with the objectives of directional and special education, that is education means chosen sport in the complex interactions: theoretical knowledge, the formation of skills in the chosen sport; development of physical qualities and health promotion; the formation of cognitive and creative abilities in sports industry; deliberate psychological education and improvement, the formation of civic and Patriotic feelings. The results of the study indicate that students of the core classes have interest on the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of physical education and sport and the desire for constant improvement. The results of this study suggest the decline in the prestige of the teacher of physical culture and trainer, as well as a lack of legislative base in the field of physical education and sport in our state. Relevant in the modern secondary school is a specialisation of education through sport in the context of the European choice of the state and the implementation of the educational program of the school curriculum of courses. The next step of the national policy of education specialization in sport, in our opinion, is to develop new Provisions for specialized classes and model programs with theoretical and practical disciplines, which would take into account the current socio-economic condition of the state and tendencies of development of Olympic and professional sports.
