The author discusses the diploma of bachelor's promotion for Hieronim Schober of Legnica issued in 1492. So far the document was believed to be lost. It is preserved in a collection of parchment documents in the State Archive in Cracow but unfortunately its history is not known before 1910 when it found its way to the Archive. It is the oldest known certificate of a university promotion.
