The article first presents the assumptions and principles followed by three steps of the actualization according to the document Interpretation of the Bible in the Church by the Pontifical Biblical Commission.Then the article discusses the texts contained in the Acts of the Apostles, in which you can find the implementation of the postulates of the Commission’s document regarding the actualization (Acts 1:15–26; 4:1–31 and 15:13–21). The literary-rhetorical analysis of the text Acts 4:1–31 indicates the implementation of three steps of actualization as presented in the document Interpretation of the Bible in the Church. The model of actualization, applied in the analyzed text, is an inspired record of best practice for future generations of Christ’s disciples.

Artykuł przedstawia wpierw założenia i zasady, a następnie trzy kroki aktualizacji według dokumentu Papieskiej Komisji Biblijnej Interpretacja Biblii w Kościele. Zwraca uwagę na teksty zawarte w Dziejach Apostolskich, w których można znaleźć realizację postulatów dokumentu Komisji dotyczącą aktualizacji (Dz 1, 15–26; 4, 1–31 oraz 15, 13–21). W analizie literacko-retorycznej tekstu Dz 4, 1–31 wskazuje realizację trzech kroków aktualizacji zawartych w dokumencie Interpretacja Biblii Kościele. Model aktualizacji, zawarty w badanym tekście, ma niezwykłą wagę, stanowi bowiem natchniony zapis wzorcowego dla przyszłych pokoleń postępowania Kościoła Apostolskiego.

Mit der Methode Wirkungsgeschichte werden die charakteristischen Tendenzen beschrieben, die unter den polnischen Theologen vorkommen worden sind, die ihre Auslegung des Gleichnisses über den Barmherzigen Vater (Luk 15,11-32) in den letzten 50 Jahren formuliert haben. Es geht dabei nur um populäre und pastorale Interpretationen, die für die breiten Kreisen adressiert sind. Die Resultaten werden mit einer ,,Kontrollgruppe“ konfrontiert. Die vergleichbare Gruppe, wenn es um ihre Kompetenzen und Ziel der Auslegung geht, werden die Lateinischen Väter (bis zu Augustinus) betrachten. Die gemeinsame Tendenz unter den polnischen Theologen kann man als das grosse Interesse an dem Barmherzigen Vater und seine Beziehung zum jüngeren Sohn bezeichnen. Als Ziel solcher Auslegung in der Nachkriegszeit kann man die Vertiefung der Praxis des Sakramentes der Busse vermuten. In den späteren Texten ging es mehr um die persönliche Beziehung zu Gott, der nicht nur barmherzig ist, sondern auch seine Kinder immer und grenzenlos akzeptiert. Diese Tendenz scheint es deutlich, wenn wir diese Beobachtungen mit der Auslegung der Kontrollgruppe konfrontieren. Es stellt sich heraus, dass bei den ersten Lateinischen Theologen nicht die Barmherzigkeit des Vaters, sondern die Folge der Sünde betont sind. Dazu muss man sagen, dass die Kirchenväter zurückhaltend das Gleichnis über den Barmherzigen Vater erklären. Man kann vermuten, dass die strenge Bussdisziplin in den ersten Jahrhunderten für diese Resultate der Wirkungsgeschichte verantwortlich ist. Unsere Antwort auf die Frage, warum so verschiedene Akzente in den beiden Epochen der Kirche vorkommen sind, lautet: die zeitgenössischen Theologen reagieren auf die Bedürfnisse der modernen Gesellschaft. Es scheint zu sein, dass eines von den ,,Zeichen der Zeit" die Suche nach dem wahren Gesicht des Vaters ist. Die theologische Absicht des Lukas verlangt jedoch die Verkündigung um solche Elemente zu ergänzen, die der pastoralen Voraussetzungen entsprachen. Es geht um die Akzeptanz für die Barmherzigkeit Gottes in Bezug auf die andere, aber auch um die Wahrheit über die Folgen der Sünde und des Bösen im Leben des Menschen.

Artykuł bada przesłanie wersetów Rz 12,1-2 w ich kontekście literacko-retorycznym, przyjmując dispositio, jaką wypracował J.-N. Aletti, a według której jest to kolejna propositio perswazji obejmującej cały List do Rzymian. Chrześcijanin, który uwierzył ewangelii, jest wezwany do tego, by był gotowy do składania w ofierze całej swojej cielesnej egzystencji, w taki jednak sposób, by ona podobała się Bogu. Drogą nieodzowną do takiej postawy jest nonkonformizm wobec tego świata oraz uległość wobec przemieniającego działania Ducha Świętego, a co umożliwia właściwą ocenę podejmowanego postępowania.

The article intends to convince that acculturation should be distinguished in the process of inculturation. First, the author defines the term “inculturation”, according to the teaching of the Church. Next, he gives some biblical examples of inculturation. It has been stressed that the process of inculturation must be bidirectional (incorporating the Gospel into the culture and adopting these cultural elements which are not in contradiction with the Gospel).Both the Bible and the Church indicate that a properly conducted process of inculturation is the condition which must be met for the target culture to accept the Gospel. In the last paragraph, the author singles out the conditions to be met by inculturation. Another process, namely acculturation which aims at depriving the Gospel of its cultural conditions, needs to be added to the list. Two writers have noticed the need of doing so: Anna Wierzbicka, the linguist, and Fr. Arkadiusz Baron, the patrologist (transl. by Zygmunt Kostka).
