A lesson on proteins, which consists of three parts : proteins, enzymes and amino acids, was taught in the traditional way (dominant one) and using the interactive-cooperative approach. Comparative analysis of the statistical results for the experimental and control groups was carried out. The results obtained by the use of the interactive-cooperative method show overall improvement. The effect after teaching the lesson on proteins using the interactive approach shows an increase from 50% up to 71%, which points to a significant improvement and higher achievements by the students. The improvement is also represented in higher average grades of the experimental group.
