Hurdle running requires precise technique, which should be taught in youth. This qualitative study examines methods for improving hurdle running technique in young athletes at sports schools. A 10-week intervention program, involving 16 targeted exercises, was implemented in 15 male athletes. Key technical areas, such as take-off, hurdle clearance, landing, and the first step towards the next hurdle, showed significant improvement. However, the last step before the hurdle remained challenging for many athletes. These findings suggest that while structured training enhances general technique, specific aspects may require more focused interventions.
