This article contains reflection upon modern youth culture as a challenge for catechesis. It describes the phenomenon of culture and explains its concepts. Describes the participation of youths in culture. The article also lists the most popular cultural mediums among the youth. The latter section describes specifics of cultural messages characteristic of modern mass media. It also describes the specific catechetic challenges posed by modern culture the youths participate in.

L’articolo riflette sulla cultura della gioventù moderna come una sfida per la catechesi. È stato descritto il fenomeno della cultura e i suoi concetti. Viene descritta la partecipazione dei giovani alla cultura. Vengono anche dati i media più popolari della cultura tra i giovani. Di seguito vengono descritte le specifiche del messaggio che caratterizza i moderni mass media. Sono state presentate le sfide per la catechesi poste dalla cultura contemporanea a cui partecipano i giovani.

Podano również jakie są najbardziej popularne nośniki kultury wśród młodzieży. W dalszej części opisano specyfikę przekazu, która charakteryzuje współczesne media masowe. Podano również jakie wyzwania dla katechezy stwarza współczesna kultura, w której uczestniczy młodzież.
