The article examines the process of adapting loanwords into the Russian language. The source material was extracted from the first handwritten editions of Russian opinion journalism written from 1656 to 1670. The author describes the process of absorbing loanwords on the morphological level and demonstrates the existence of inflectional variants of loaned nouns.

Artykuł bada proces adaptacji zapożyczeń w literaturze rosyjskiej. Materiał źródłowy został wyekscerpowany z pierwszych rosyjskich rękopiśmiennych gazet, które powstawały w okresie 1656–1670 lat. Autor przedstawia proces integrowania zapożyczeń językowych na poziomie morfologicznym poprzez przykłady waniantywności ich fleksji.

The paper analyses monetary unit names, incorporated into Russian language in the first seven decades of the 17th century. The research aims at evaluating the level of assimilation of the foreign units in the borrowing language. The research material was extracted from Vesti-Kuranty, written from 1600 to 1670.

W niniejszym artykule omówiono nazwy zapożyczonych jednostek monetarnych w języku rosyjskim od początku XVII wieku do lat 70. tego stulecia. Celem analizy jest określenie stopnia adaptacji nazw nierosyjskich na gruncie języka zapożyczającego. Materiał, będący przedmiotem analizy, wyekscerpowano z „Vesti-Kurantów”, powstałych w latach 1600–1670.

The paper studies the process of adapting Polish loanwords into the Russian language. Research material was extracted from the first handwritten editions of Russian opinion journalism, written from 1656 to 1670. The purpose of the article is to present the process of absorbing loanwords on the phonetic and morphological level, and to record changes in word genders and resonance variants in the words internalized into Russian either originating directly from Polish or passed on through Polish from other languages.

Artykuł poświęcony jest procesowi adaptacji polskiej leksyki w języku rosyjskim na podstawie vesti-kurantów z drugiej połowy XVII wieku. Celem artykułu jest zbadanie procesu adaptacji zapożyczeń na poziomie  fonetycznym i morfologicznym, jak również zarejestrowanie zmiany rodzajów gramatycznych w leksyce o bezpośrednim polskim pochodzeniu lub zapożyczonej za pośrednictwem języka polskiego.
