Identification of Soft Power in the Security Policy of the Republic of Poland

The aim of this article is to identify soft power in the security policy of the Republic of Poland (RP). Cause-effect analysis is used to identify the object of cognition (soft power in the security policy of the RP), as it serves to determine the fundamental connections between soft power in the RP’s security policy, soft power components, and their purpose. In turn, word-formation is supported by induction, philological and intuitive methods, and also logical methods. It allows us to determine the scope and content of fundamental concepts. This article explains the validity of soft power in building the position of the RP in the international arena and safeguarding the national interest of Poland, particularly in the context of ensuring Polish security. Moreover, the author determines the scope and content of soft power in the post-1989 security policy of the RP, among other things by analysing documents of the National Security Strategy of the RP and National Security Bureau actions. As a result, the most important and fundamental components of soft power, RP’s security policy, and soft power in the RP’s national security policy have been identified .

Za cel artykułu przyjęto identyfikację soft power w polityce bezpieczeństwa RP. Rozwiązanie problemu ogólnego, identyfikującego przedmiot poznania (soft power w polityce bezpieczeństwa RP), nastąpiło w wyniku zastosowania analizy przyczynowo-skutkowej, która służy określeniu podstawowych związków między soft power w polityce bezpieczeństwa RP, elementami soft power i celem jego działania. Z kolei analiza słowotwórcza wsparta analizami filologicznymi, indukcyjnymi i intuicyjnymi, a także analizą logiczną, pozwoliła ustalić zakres i treść podstawowych pojęć. W artykule wyjaśniono ponadto ważność soft power w budowaniu pozycji RP na arenie międzynarodowej oraz zabezpieczania jej interesów narodowych - zwłaszcza w kontekście zapewniania jej bezpieczeństwa. Autor ustalił zakres i treść soft power w polityce bezpieczeństwa RP po 1989 r., analizując m.in. dokumenty Strategii Bezpieczeństwa Narodowego RP oraz aktywności Biura Bezpieczeństwa Narodowego. W efekcie określone zostało to co najważniejsze i podstawowe w soft power, polityce bezpieczeństwa RP oraz sprecyzowano soft power w polityce bezpieczeństwa narodowego RP.

The subject treats the problem of social maladjustment widely. on the basis of research carried out on 195 respondents from secondary and primary schools, answers to a dozen or so questions were received. In the presented research, the survey method was used. questions relate to min. addictions, willingness to learn or relationships between peers. The results of the research give a certain image that characterizes the given age group and gender and indicates in what criteria the given element of social pathology or the problem occurs more often. Analyzing the results of the research it can be concluded that many young people’s needs are not met. They are not motivated in an appropriate way. The problem is too frequent alcohol abuse, fewer cigarettes, while the drug problem is practically non-existent. Thanks to questions with open answers, it can be stated that young people ripen unevenly. in a given peer environment there are people who are more mature with a greater perspective of life, planning their future several years ahead, as well as those with smaller requirements and sometimes very basic and everyday needs.
