The adaptation of new technologies in life and work is one of the factors determining the need for lifelong learning. This article presents the results of a study of positive orientation and technology readiness of representatives of generations Z, Y and X (916 respondents) and the relationship between the variables explored. A quantitative method was used to carry out the study. It turns out that generation Y is the most willing to adopt new technologies, while generation X is rather distanced from them. Positive orientation is highest in the oldest generation and lowest in the youngest. The article addresses the current issue of human-technology collaboration and its conclusions relate primarily to the experiences of generation Z.
