Rosnąca zmienność i niepewność otoczenia powodują, że coraz większe znaczenie w strategiach rozwoju przedsiębiorstw odgrywa elastyczność. Kluczową rolę w procesach uelastycznienia przedsiębiorstwa odgrywają zasoby, które determinują kierunki rozwoju przedsiębiorstwa i realizowane strategie konkurencji. Rozpoznanie i usystematyzowanie źródeł elastyczności ma istotne znaczenie w procesach podejmowania decyzji dotyczących kierunków i metod rozwoju zasobów. Określanie nowych kierunków rozwoju zasobów uzależnione jest w dużej mierze od możliwości ich kompleksowej analizy i oceny. Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja najważniejszych źródeł i mechanizmów, które wpływają na elastyczność zasobów, a których wstępna identyfikacja jest punktem wyjścia do dalszych badań metodycznych, dotyczących zasad i kryteriów oceny wartości strategicznej zasobów. Opracowanie tych metod jest możliwe poprzez powiązanie dwóch komplementarnych obszarów: dorobku zasobowej szkoły strategicznego myślenia (wymiar poznawczy) z metodami oceny konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstw (wymiar metodyczny), z szerszym uwzględnieniem warunku elastyczności.

The uncertainty of the enterprise environment makes flexibility play an increasingly important role as a strategy tool. Resources determine the source of both, the potential and flexibility, growth and competitive strategy. Identification and systematisation of sources of flexibility can be very important in decision-making processes, concerning the directions and methods of resource development. Evaluation of directions of company’s resource development depends, to a large extent, on the possibility of their comprehensive analysis and evaluation. The aim of the article is to identify the most important sources and mechanisms that affect flexibility of the resources and company, and whose preliminary identification is the starting point for a further research methodology, concerning the principles and criteria for the evaluation of strategic resources. The development of these methods is possible by linking the complementary areas: achievements of the resource-based view research perspective (cognitive terms), the methods of evaluation of enterprise’s competitiveness (in terms of assessment of the potential effects), taking into account the condition of flexibility.

Растущая изменчивость и неуверенность среды приводят к тому, что все большее значение в стратегиях развития предприятий имеет эластичность. Основную роль в процессах повышения эластичности предприятия играют ресурсы, которые предопределяют направления развития предприятия и осуществляемые стратегии конкуренции. Выявление и систематизация источников эластичности имеет существенное значение в процессах принятия решений, касающихся направлений и методов развития ресурсов. Определение новых направлений развития ресурсов во многом зависит от возможности комплексного их анализа и оценки. Цель статьи – выявить самые важные источники и механизмы, влияющие на эластичность ресурсов, которых предварительное выявление является исходной точкой к дальнейшим методическим исследованиям, касающимся принципов и критериев оценки стратегической ценности ресурсов. Разработка этих методов возможна путем увязкидвух комплементарных сфер: достижений ресурсной школы стратегического мышления (познавательное измерение) с методами оценки конкурентоспособности предприятий (методическое измерение), с более широким учетом условия эластичности.

The article aims to show the phenomenon of femininity, considering it in the context of existential dialectics. It exposes the specificity of the female subject, emphasizing its “open” character. The paper also presents the mutual otherness of men and women, arguing for the abolition of its common evaluation, including interpreting it in favor of one or the other sex. The article shows that femininity and masculinity, although they manifest differently, constantly interact, complement and stimulate each other creatively.

Niniejszy artykuł ukazuje fenomen kobiecości, rozpatrując go w kontekście egzystencjalnej dialektyki. Zwraca uwagę na specyfikę kobiecego podmiotu, akcentując jego „otwarty” charakter. Wskazuje też na wzajemną „inność” kobiety i mężczyzny, argumentując za zniesieniem jej obiegowego wartościowania, w tym interpretowania jej na korzyść jednej bądź drugiej płci. W duchu dialektycznym zaznacza się, że kobiecość i męskość, choć inaczej się manifestują, nieustannie na siebie oddziałują, wzajemnie się uzupełniają i twórczo stymulują.

W artykule zarysowuję egzystencjalną interpretację etiudy Romana Polańskiego Dwaj ludzie z szafą (1958). Pomimo sporej liczby publikacji traktujących o twórczości Polańskiego nadal brakuje pracy, która wprost i pierwszorzędnie ukazałaby filozoficzno-egzystencjalny potencjał tej wczesnej krótkometrażówki. Wywód został podzielony na pięć części. W pierwszej z nich przyglądam się zagadnieniom samotności i obcości prezentowanym w filmie Polańskiego. W drugim kroku nawiązuję do rozpoznań wybranych filozofów egzystencjalnych (J. Ortega y Gasset, E. Lévinas, J.-P. Sartre, A. Camus). W trzeciej części kreślę specyfikę charakterystycznych dla filmu motywów groteski i absurdu, uwypuklając ich związek z problematyką samotności. Następnie interpretuję film w kontekście autentycznego sposobu egzystowania, odwołując się do spostrzeżeń M. Heideggera i akcentując rozziew między „byciem sobą” a przynależnością do wspólnoty (społeczeństwa). W ostatniej części proponuję psychologiczno-egzystencjalne odczytanie etiudy Polańskiego, zwracając uwagę na psychologiczne uwarunkowania ludzkiej egzystencji.

The aim of the article is to present and analyze the selected phraseologisms with a somatic component naming feelings which were noted down from the novel of Władysław Stanisław Reymont entitled Chłopi (“The Peasants”). The analysis comprised 175 examples excerpted from the text, constituting just a part of collected research material. Compilation and organization of the exemplary material made it possible to assert that in the studied text the largest group constitute somatic phraseologisms being the designations of negative feelings and possessing in their lexical composition the noun serce (heart). Much less often there appear phraseologisms with other names of body parts, such as skóra (skin), gardziel (throat), głowa (head) or włosy (hair). In most cases the studied somatic phraseologisms occur in the canonical form, sometimes are creatively transformed by the author. In the studied material, the somatic phraseologisms designating positive feelings constitute a less numerous group. Also in this group, there dominate the compounds with a component serce (heart), while with other somatic components are less numerous. Also in this group, the idiomatic phrases occur in canonical forms or are creatively transformed by the author. Research conducted in the group of somatic phraseologisms designating emotional states enabled scholars to state that the novel of Reymont provides rich phraseological material in the form of canonical compounds, functionally justified innovation and metaphorical expressions, which, with respect to their structure and function, resemble phraseologisms. Among the phraseologisms where the writer’s intervention is noticeable, the author-at the level of language-refers to the world of values and cultural behaviours of peasant community of the village of Lipce. What is more, referring in the description of feelings to somatic phraseology, Reymont also emphasises a vital relationship between subjectively experienced feelings and an accompanying physiological reaction by an organism.

The aim of the article is to show the existential themes of filmmaking by Ingmar Bergman, one of the greatest European directors. The paper emphasizes that the matters undertaken by Bergman focus on such issues as loneliness, anxiety, uncertainty and transience of human fate, death, man’s relationship with God and the searching for meaning of life. On the one hand, the paper refers to Bergman’s poetics (especially from The Seventh Seal and the “religious trilogy”). On the other hand, it discusses the recognition of existential philosophers. Existential interpretation of Bergman’s films allows to consider the director as the leading existential artist and emphasizes a universal, timeless character of his films.

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie egzystencjalnych motywów twórczości filmowej Ingmara Bergmana, jednego z najwybitniejszych reżyserów europejskich. Podkreślamy, że podejmowana przez niego problematyka ogniskuje się wokół takich zagadnień, jak samotność, niepokój, niepewność i przemijalność ludzkiego losu, śmierć, relacja człowieka do Boga czy poszukiwanie sensu życia. W pracy odwołujemy się zarówno do wybranych dzieł filmowych Bergmana (zwłaszcza do Siódmej pieczęci i tzw. „trylogii pionowej”), jak i do rozpoznań filozofów egzystencjalnych. Egzystencjalna interpretacja filmów Bergmana, jak się zdaje, pozwala uznać szwedzkiego reżysera za czołowego twórcę egzystencjalnego, akcentując uniwersalny, ponadczasowy charakter jego obrazów.

This paper sets out to outline the singular nature of the dimension of anthropology of freedom in the philosophies of Jean-Paul Sartre and Emmanuel Lévinas, the leading existentialists of the 20th century. It seems that the phenomenon of human freedom, one of the fundamental issues in philosophical anthropology, in particular in the humanist reflection, proves to be problematic when one seeks to elucidate it without ambiguity. This becomes even more difficult given that it prompts further momentous intellectual quandaries, mostly those concerned with the nature of the meaning of existence itself. The concepts advanced by Sartre and Lévinas – although they represent different visions of the human – undoubtedly provide much philosophical inspirationfor all kinds of reflection on the vital issue of freedom.

Although the subject of synergy has been explored for a long time, there are many indications that it is still gaining in importance, in the field of economics. The phenomenon of synergy seems particularly important in the field of M&A’s, alliances and the development of new organizational forms of enterprises. Synergy effects are most often evaluated from the operational and very rarely in the strategic, structural perspectives. The aim of the article is to identify and systematize the most important perspectives for synergy effect evaluation in the process of strategic analysis. The identified perspectives will be the starting point of the further research on criteria selection for synergy effects evaluation and will be one of the components of a more complex framework of the process of resource analysis. The research was conceptual, based on a literature review in the fields of methodology of strategic analysis, strategic management and Resource-Based View (RBV) approach. The identification of the structural conditions for synergy effect evaluation, requires focusing on: the subjective scope of the synergy effect analysis, key areas of strategy content and context, with the important role of strategic resources.

The study focuses on the characteristically Pascalian attempt at synthesizing of contradictory and intensely remote extremes of existence. Assuming the form of existential dialectics, the paradox of Pascalian vision refers in particular to the human, demonstrating the non-reducible tension between the intuitive (irrational) and the rational (panlogical); between the heart and the mind, between faith and knowledge. The conviction of human misery or the worldly vanity is fused here with the simultaneous sense of human greatness (the power of thought). The tension which therefore spans those dichotomous ontological-ontic dimensions is the determining factor of the constitution of individual existence.
