Based on creativity of two contemporary Urals poets (V. Kalpidi and Yu. Kazarin) options for solving the problem of the Poet age are discuss. Two strategies identified – teacher, school founder and poetic hermit immersed in self-reflection. Both authors interpret the old age as a stage of initiation, opening new prospects for creativity and human maturity.
