Na ten problem zwraca uwagę aktualne nauczanie Magisterium Kościoła, które uwypukla aspekt wierności charyzmatycznej, właściwej formacji oraz troski o powołania. Odnowa miłości wobec Boga i ludzi jest gwarantem wierności powołaniu poszczególnych osób konsekrowanych. Ona także sprawia, że osoby konsekrowane stają się proroczym znakiem obecności Boga w świecie oraz wskazują na ostateczny cel człowieka, jakim jest zjednoczenie z Bogiem.

Renewal of life in the light of the charism has been a fixed challenge, which faces each institute of the consecrated life. This problem is highlighted in the current teaching of the Magisterium of the Church, which underlines aspects of the charismatic fidelity, appropriate formation and concern for religious vocations. Renewal of love of God and humans is the guarantor of fidelity of vocation for each consecrated person. It makes it happen that consecrated people become the prophetic sign of the presence of God in the world and directs us toward the ultimate goal of a human being that is the unity with God.

Leona Dehona autor zwraca uwagę na konieczność takiego pielęgnowania praktyk pobożności, aby były one wyrazem zdrowej duchowości. Ukazując różne formy pobożności i kultu Bożego Serca, wskazuje na ich cel, którym jest uświęcenie człowieka oraz kształtowanie serca na wzór Serca Jezusowego.

The article presents the mutual reference between the spirituality of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the various forms of cult. Based on the example of the Venerable Servant of God, Father Léon Dehon author points out to the necessity of cultivating the practice of piety in order to express the healthy kind of spirituality. By presenting various forms of piety and the cult of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the intention of the author is to show what its goal is, namely the sanctity of the human being, and moulding the human heart according the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Formacja do ślubu ubóstwa jest jednym z elementów formacji osób konsekrowanych zmierzającej do życia radami ewangelicznymi. W Zgromadzeniu Księży Najświętszego Serca Jezusowego wszystkie śluby zakonne wpisane są w rys wynagradzający Instytutu oraz otrzymują wymiar oblacyjny, podkreślający całkowite oddanie się Bogu poprzez konsekrację. Dokumenty Zgromadzenia obok celu i różnych aspektów formacji określają również istotę ślubu ubóstwa, zachęcając do życia jego duchem. Celem formacji jest kształtowanie serca zakonnika, który coraz bardziej winien odzwierciedlać w sobie sposób życia ubogiego, jaki obrał Jezus Chrystus. Formacja ta ma także wymiar wspólnotowy, gdyż wspólnota winna stawać się świadkiem dóbr nieprzemijających, w czym wyraża się jej wymiar profetyczny.

Formation towards the vow of poverty is one of the elements of the preparation of consecrated persons aimed at living according to evangelical counsels. In the Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus all three vows are inscribed in the figure of reparation characteristic for the Institute as well as oblation dimension which underlines total devotion to God through religious consecration. The documents of the Congregation besides the goals and various aspects of formation also set out the essence of the vow of poverty, encouraging life with its spirit. The goal of formation is to shape the heart of a religious person, who supposed to more and more reflect in himself the way of life of the poor which was chosen by Jesus Christ. That formation has also the community dimension, through which the religious community should become a witness of non-remissive goods and thus its prophetic dimension.

Kryzys życia konsekrowanego łączy się ściśle z kryzysem współczesnego człowieka oraz kryzysem Kościoła. Osłabienie wiary i wierności wybranemu powołaniu skutkuje brakiem świadectwa i w jakiejś mierze wpływa również na spadek liczby powołań. Zarówno słowo Boże, jak też współczesne nauczanie Magisterium Kościoła dają jednak wskazówki, które mogą stać się źródłem odnowy życia zakonnego. To niesie nadzieję, że zakonnicy ponownie staną się wyraźnym znakiem obecności Boga w świecie.

The crisis of the consecrated life is tightly connected with the crisis of the contemporary human being and with the crisis of the Church. Weakening of the faith and lack of faithfulness to the chosen calling results with lack of witnessing and consequently with lower number of vocations. Both the Word of God and the modern teaching of the Magisterium of the Church give clues, which could become the source of the renewal of the consecrated life. It gives hope that the religious again will become a clear sign of the presence of God in the world.

Holiness is the goal of the Christian life. One of the examples of the holiness of consecrated persons is the figure of the venerable Servant of God, Fr. Aloysius Sebastian (Aloísio Sebastião) Boeing SCJ. The aim of the article is to show the spiritual growth of this candidate for the altar, his dedication to serving God’s people and the spiritual inspirations he drew from the spirituality of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Marian piety.

The article is the report from the scientific symposium organised by the Association of the Polish Theologians of Spirituality of the theme: Spiritual life in reborn Poland. This year Poland will be celebrating the centenary of the regaining of its independence. It becomes a great occasion to look at that period of history from the perspective of the theology of spirituality. Numerous figures of saints and blessed from that period of history as well as richness of various publications in the topic of theology of spirituality, with special underlining of the subjects characteristic for the Polish spirituality fully justify the using of the name Polish theology of spirituality.

Oblation is one of the key terms of the spirituality of the Congregation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus founded by the venerable Servant of God, Father Leon Dehon. It influences not only the understanding of the charism of the Institute but is also essential for the apostolate. The main aim of the article is to draw attention to this characteristic feature of the charism included in the current Rule of Life. It influences the experience of their own spirituality by contemporary Dehonians, as well as directs their formation.

Formation for the priesthood at the Major Mission Seminary of the Priests of the Sacred Heart in Stadniki includes a main element of charismatic and pastoral formation, which is formation for missions. This is a consequence of the charism of the Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which treats involvement in missions as one of the important dimensions of apostolic work and a form of proclaiming the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The aim of the article is to present various dimensions of the missionary formation of candidates for priesthood, as well as to show its fruits.

Accidia è la mancanza di impegno per i valori spirituali. E’ uno stato di acquiescenza, il più delle volte responsabile. Questa malattia spirituale è stata descritta dagli diversi vocaboli come negligenza, incuria, noia, disgusto di Dio, disgusto del “mondo spirituale”, pigrizia, tristezza. Diversi autori monastici come Evagrio Pontico, Giovanni Cassiano e altri autori spirituali hanno descritto diversi rimedi specifici contro questo vizio. Uno dei rimedi conosciuti nella tradizione monastica consiste nell’alternare, in maniera sana, preghiera e lavoro. Il modo più popolare della lotta contro questa malattia è la pratica dell’amore verso gli altri e il servizio della comunità.
