Akcent w deklinacji połabskiego rzeczownika w ujęciu diachronicznym

The word accent origin issue in the Polabian language has been considered to be unsolvable for decades. The Polabian stress used to be thought to fall on the ultimate or penultimate syllable of a word. The author makes an attempt to derive the Polabian stress from Proto-Slavic one, assuming as few changes as possible. The article’s innovativeness is the consideration of new approaches, which include: influence of prepositions on a place of stress and taking Germanisms into consideration as well. The author succeeded to reconstruct accentuation paradigms for the most important classes of nouns with a monosyllabic stem with reasonable results.

Akcent wyrazowy języka połabskiego był od dekad nierozwiązanym problemem polabistyki. Mógł on padać na ostatnią lub przedostatnią sylabę wyrazu. Autor podejmuje próbę wyprowadzenia akcentu wyrazowego z akcentu prasłowiańskiego, zakładając tak mało zmian, jak to tylko możliwe. Nową rzeczą w tym artykule jest uwzględnienie wpływu przyimków na położenie akcentu, a także wzięcie pod uwagę germanizmów. Udało się tym sposobem z zadowalającym rezultatem zrekonstruować paradygmaty akcentowe dla najważniejszych deklinacji rzeczowników o jednosylabowym temacie.
