Artykuł poświęcony jest genezie bułgarskiego zbioru esejów pt. Europa Środkowa w trzech esejach, który zawiera utwory trzech wybitnych słowiańskich pisarzy: Andrzeja Stasiuka, Jurija Andruchowycza i Jáchyma Topola oraz przedmowę autorstwa Ani Burowej. W artykule zaprezentowano koncepcję zbioru, a także omówiono problemy edytorskie towarzyszące scalaniu tekstów (między innymi związane z ustaleniem kolejności esejów, ujednoliceniem tekstów pod względem technicznym, przekładem etc.).

The following paper presents some of the problems of the Bulgarian publishing of the co-authored book Middle Europe in Three Essays, which includes the essays of three Slavic authors - Andrzej Stasiuk, Yuri Andrukhovych and Jáchym Topol. The preface is written by Ani Burova. The focus is placed on the conception of gathering the texts in one book and also on the problems of editing and translation, such as order of the essays, translation of toponyms and ethnonims etc.

This paper analyzes the modes of presentation of extraterrestrial animals in science fiction literature by Russian, Ukrainian, Polish and Bulgarian authors in the period 1923–1997. Linguistic analyses of the naming of extraterrestrial animals in SF novels and stories, use of grotesque and humor indicates stylistic characteristics of the authors. Differences between terrestrial and extraterrestrial animal species reflects the views of writers about biological evolution. Relationship between men and animals from other worlds depends on the communication possibilities and options, and the desire to subjugate, examine or tame others.

W artykule omówiono zmiany, które zaszły w programach nauczania uniwersytetów rosyjskich w przełomowym dla kraju okresie, przyczyny (ideologiczne, metodologiczne, systemowe) wprowadzenia reformy programowej oraz kierunek, w którym zmierzały nauki humanistyczne (w tym badania nad historią literatur słowiańskich i filologie słowiańskie) pod rządami bolszewików.

В статье обсуждается вопрос места славянских литератур в системе высшего образования Российской Империи и большевистской России (1907-1931). В статье анализируется процесс изменения программ обучения российских университетов во время крупных для страны перемен, идеологические, методологические, системные причины введения реформы гуманитарного образования, а также положение гуманитарных наук (в том числе исследований славянских литератур и славянской филологии) при диктатуре большевистского государства.

The article tackles the problem of Slavic literature’s place in the academic education system of the Russian empire and Soviet Russia (1907-1931). The article discusses the changes in the curriculum of the Russian universities during the turning point in the Russian history, the reasons (ideological, methodological and systemic) for curricular reform and the direction in which arts were moving (including research on the history of Slavonic literature and Slavonic philology) under the rule of the Bolsheviks.
