Maturity models can be treated as a guide for managers, translating knowledge into concrete actions to change and improve the organization. Their primary role is first of all to enable the diagnosis of the current state and to indicate the direction of activities allowing to eliminate all missing skills in a specific field. Maturity models related to corporate social responsibility management generally contain similar components (dimensions) and propose five to seven stages of maturity. However, since their publication, new concepts have emerged, deepening understanding and organizing the very complex domain of CSR. The aim of the article is to consider the possibility of including in the CSR maturity model two dimensions derived from newer concepts of corporate social responsibility: the type of CSR and spheres of influence. These dimensions meet the condition of disconnection and gradability, and complement the earlier models.

In the article the author focuses on the analysis of Sino-Indian rivalry in the three countries, seeking common points and differences in their situation. These are the inland Nepal, located between India and China; the islands of Sri Lanka, lying adjacent to the Indian subcontinent; and the Maldives, five hundred kilometer away from it. Author claims that in the 21st century there is an increase of intensity in relations between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of India in the field of competitive impacts in the analyzed countries. However, due to the significantly lower potential of India in the economic sphere and less activity in the international arena, the policy of this country in South Asia is most often reactive to China's actions. In the 21st century a significant change in the political situation in Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Maldives can be seen. India's former hegemony has been undermined by China, which has gained an advantage in all of these countries.

The aim of this article is to analyze Russian-African relations and the continent’s reactions to the war in Ukraine unleashed by Putin. The analysis also answers the question of whether the behavior of many African countries during the voting of the UN resolution against the war in Ukraine confirms the influence of Russia on the continent. The article also attempts to identify the causes of the conflict. The analysis of the history of Rusian-African relations is based essentially on the work of Russian historians and the research of Slava Tynes, an African-American researcher. It also includes studies by Arnaud Dubien, a French specialist in Russian foreign policy, Franco-Russian relations, and Russian policy in Africa, as well as by Sophie Coeuré, a professor at the University of Paris, and a specialist in Russia. The analysis of the position of African countries towards the war in Ukraine is based mainly on the publications of African intellectuals examining the behavior of African countries during the vote at the UN forum. Our analysis comes to a conclusion that the strategic attitude of African countries and the AU should be positioned as a powerful factor of reconciliation and mediation. On the other hand, African countries, in most cases, remain divided, weak and dependent on the former colonial powers, which results in the lack of a firm reaction to the protagonists of the war in Ukraine.

The main aim of this article is presenting actions, conducted by Russia in relations with Ukraine and most important reasons, why Russia decided to become involved in it. By important deals like: increasing gas prices or putting pressure connecting with Ukrainian debt, Russia wants Ukraine to fall into dependency and stop this country from leaving Russian sphere of influence. Russia decided for using geoeconomic methods, because this solution is more effective than geopolitical scheme. This situation shows that geopolitical paradigm is more and more important in international relations area.
