This article touches on the area of research on tourism education and the role played by universities in this process. The legal conditions and social trends that prevailed in tourist destinations in 2014-2021 were analyzed. At the legal level, the place of tourism in the taxonomy of scientific fields and disciplines was analyzed. The authors attempted to conduct a comparative law analysis, using in this area the acquired knowledge in the field of legal regulations of the Republic of Bulgaria. The deliberations included de lege lata and de lege ferenda conclusions.

Niniejszy artykuł dotyka sfery badań nad edukacją turystyczną i rolą, jaką pełnią uczelnie wyższe w tym procesie. Analizie poddano warunki prawne i społeczne trendów, jakie panowały na kierunkach turystycznych w latach 2014-2021. W warstwie prawnej przeanalizowano miejsce turystyki w systematyce dziedzin i dyscyplin naukowych. Autorzy pokusili się o analizę prawnoporównawczą (komparatystyczną) wykorzystując w tym obszarze pozyskaną wiedzę z zakresu regulacji prawnych Republiki Bułgarii. W ramach rozważań nie zabrakło wniosków de lege lata oraz de lege ferenda.
