The purpose of the article is a scholarly reflection on the presence and significance of Kombornia folk costume in the culture and entrepreneurial activities of the members of the Rural Housewives’ Club in Kombornia. The first part of the article, based on an analysis of the literature, explains the basic terms related to the subject. It defines what folk costume is, including the Kombornia costume, what functions it performed, and what factors determined its appearance and forms. The next part presents exploratory material, showing the importance of Kombornia folk costume and its use in the entrepreneurial and educational activities of Club members in Kombornia. The analysis is based on self-reported survey data, which was conducted in September 2022. The collected material was obtained on the basis of statements collected by means of a survey questionnaire, free interviews with a list of sought-after issues conducted with: Prof. Kazimierz Szmyd from the National Academy of Applied Sciences in Krosno, the chairman and members of the Kombornia Rural Housewives’ Club, the Kombornia village mayor, and records collected in the Chronicles of the Kombornia Rural Housewives’ Club. The results of the survey indicated that interviewees recognize the need to cultivate the Kombornia folk costume and the traditions associated with it, guided by cultural-cognitive, applied, in addition to emotional motives. The Kombornia folk costume is a significant and inalienable part of modern local life. It has been worn during ceremonies at the local and state levels. In addition, it is also worn during the numerous workshops organized by members of the Rural Housewives’ Club related to learning about the history of costume and traditions associated with the region. The respondents’ statements testify to a strong identification with the Kombornia costume, which is a symbol of belonging to the region. The respondents pointed to the lack of generational continuity and the gradual severing of ties with the tradition of wearing the costume, which may be a legitimate concern. Presenting the cultural heritage of the region, including the Kombornia folk costume and traditions associated with it by the members of the Club in Kombornia may prove to be one of the significant ways of shaping the personality, sensitivity and creativity of young generations.

Celem artykułu jest refleksja kulturoznawcza nad obecnością i znaczeniem ludowego stroju komborskiego w kulturze i działalności przedsiębiorczej członkiń Koła Gospodyń Wiejskich w Komborni. W pierwszej części artykułu na podstawie analizy literatury przedmiotu wyjaśniono podstawowe terminy związane z podjętym tematem, określono, czym jest strój ludowy – w tym strój komborski – jakie pełnił funkcje oraz jakie czynniki determinowały jego wygląd i formy. W kolejnej części tekstu zaprezentowano materiał eksploracyjny, ukazujący znaczenie ludowego stroju komborskiego i jego wykorzystanie w działalności przedsiębiorczej oraz edukacyjnej członkiń KGW w Komborni. Podstawą analizy są dane pochodzące z badań własnych, które zostały przeprowadzone we wrześniu 2022 r. Zgromadzony materiał badawczy uzyskano na podstawie wypowiedzi zebranych za pomocą kwestionariusza ankiety, swobodnych wywiadów z listą poszukiwanych zagadnień przeprowadzonych z: prof. dr. hab. Kazimierzem Szmydem z Państwowej Akademii Nauk Stosowanych w Krośnie, przewodniczącą i członkiniami Koła Gospodyń Wiejskich z Komborni, sołtysem wsi Kombornia, a także zapisów zgromadzonych w Kronice Koła Gospodyń Wiejskich z Komborni. Wyniki badań pokazały, że rozmówcy dostrzegają potrzebę kultywowania komborskiego stroju ludowego i tradycji z nim związanych, kierując się pobudkami kulturowo-poznawczymi, aplikacyjnymi, jak również emocjonalnymi. Strój ludowy komborski stanowi znaczący i niezbywalny element współczesnego życia regionalnego. Był i jest noszony podczas uroczystości na szczeblu lokalnym i państwowym. Dodatkowo zakłada się go również w czasie organizowanych przez członkinie Koła Gospodyń Wiejskich licznych warsztatów towarzyszących poznawaniu historii stroju i tradycji związanych z regionem. Wypowiedzi respondentów świadczą o mocnym utożsamianiu się ze strojem komborskim, który jest symbolem przynależności do regionu. Badani wskazali na brak ciągłości pokoleniowej i stopniowe zrywanie więzi z tradycją noszenia stroju, co może budzić uzasadniony niepokój. Przybliżanie dziedzictwa kulturowego regionu, w tym komborskiego stroju ludowego i tradycji z nim związanych, przez członkinie KGW w Komborni może się okazać jednym ze znaczących sposobów kształtowania osobowości, wrażliwości i kreatywności młodych pokoleń.

The article discusses the issues of polish education in Brazil on the example of selected states, initiative and entrepreneurship of Poles, which contributed to the development of the community in question in the new homeland, and history of polish migration to the biggest country of South of America. It presents an information which comes from research that one of the authors conducted among people of Polish origin living in the states of Parana, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul and Rio de Janeiro. The article includes information about migration from Poland to Brazil: the cause, course and effect. In understanding the phenomenon of the Polish community living in the state of three southern states helps a brief history including a description of Polish migration from south of Brazil. The article also provides information on the current situation of teaching Polish in this country

W artykule omówiono historię szkolnictwa polskiego w Brazylii na przykładzie wybranych stanów, inicjatywność i przedsiębiorczość polskich osadników, która przyczyniła się do rozwoju omawianej społeczności w nowej Ojczyźnie oraz historię migracji Polaków do największego kraju Ameryki Południowej. Przedstawiono w nim informacje, które pochodzą z badań przeprowadzonych przez jedną z autorek wśród osób polskiego pochodzenia mieszkających w stanach Parana, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul i Rio de Janeiro. Artykuł zawiera informacje o migracji z Polski do Brazylii: ich przyczyny, przebieg i skutek. W zrozumieniu fenomenu Polonii zamieszkującej państwo trzech południowych stanów pomaga krótki zarys historii polskiej migracji z południa Brazylii. W artykule zamnieszczono również informacje na temat aktualnej sytuacji nauczania języka polskiego w tym kraju.

Pandemia Covid19 zmieniła codzienne funkcjonowanie społeczeństwa w wielu aspektach, w tym także w zakresie edukacji. Zmianie uległ model działania szkół z tradycyjnego – stacjonarnego na model zdalny. Zakres zmian objął różne typy szkół, w tym szkoły wyższe. Uczynienie nauczania na odległość obowiązującą praktyką edukacyjną wymusiło dostosowanie się zarówno studentów, jak i nauczycieli akademickich do dynamicznie zmieniającej się rzeczywistości. Koniecznością stało się rozwijanie i korzystanie z kompetencji cyfrowych. Nabyte podczas pandemii doświadczenia wywarły wpływ na perspektywy edukacyjno-zawodowe studiujących. Celem podjętych badań było poznanie oczekiwań studentów wobec własnego rozwoju, edukacji, a także określenie, jakie są ich postulaty względem formalnego kształcenia czasach post-pandemicznych. W podjętych badaniach jakościowych wykorzystano metodę narracji i uzyskano bogaty materiał empiryczny pochodzący od 100 osób studiujących na Uniwersytecie Pedagogicznym w Krakowie. Zobiektywizowanie wyników było możliwe po wnikliwej analizie tekstów narracji (prospektywnej). Wyróżniono formalne i treściowe kategorie, które uporządkowano w czterech obszarach, biorąc pod uwagę postulaty badanych studentek związanych z: (1) organizacją i przebiegiem kształcenia, (2) wykorzystaniem technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnej (TIK) w edukacji, (3) zaspokojeniem potrzeb studentów, (4) rozwojem osobistym i zawodowym. Wyróżnione obszary stanowią komplementarną całość, w której postulaty studiujących dotyczą istotnych sfer funkcjonowania jednostki tj. sfery intelektualnej, psycho - społecznej i fizycznej. Badane studentki oczekują, że po ustąpieniu pandemii będą mogły nadal wykorzystywać nabyte w trakcie nauki zdalnej doświadczenia i umiejętności, pragną zapewnienia przez uczelnię bezpiecznej przestrzeni fizycznej i społecznej. Chcą również uzyskać wsparcie emocjonalne, które będzie sprzyjało uwolnieniu się od negatywnych uczuć, a także otrzymać wsparcie instrumentalne, które umożliwi właściwe sposoby zachowania się i efektywne uczestnictwo w postpandemicznej edukacji. W artykule opisane kategorie zostały wzbogacone przykładowymi wypowiedziami badanych.

The Covid19 pandemic has changed the day-to-day behaviour of society in many aspects, including education. The mode of operation of schools has changed from traditional to remote. The changes affected various school types, also universities. Remote teaching as a binding educational practice forced both students and teachers to adapt to a dynamically changing reality. Experience gained during the pandemic had an impact on the educational and professional prospects of students. The aim of the research was to learn about the expectations of students towards their own development and education, as well as to determine what their postulates are regarding formal education in post-pandemic times. Extensive empirical material was obtained from 100 people (women) studying at the Pedagogical University of Krakow. The objectification of the results was possible after a thorough analysis of the narrative texts (prospective). Formal and content categories were distinguished, which were arranged in four areas, taking into account the postulates of the surveyed students related to: (1) organisation and course of education, (2) use of information and communication technology (ICT) in education, (3) fulfilment of students’ needs, (4) personal and professional development. The selected areas form a complementary whole in which students’ expectations relate to important spheres of functioning of an individual, that is intellectual, psychosocial and physical. The students participating in the survey expect that after the pandemic they will still be able to use experience and skills gained during the remote learning, they want the university to provide a secure physical and social space. They also want to receive emotional support which would help get rid of negative feelings and also receive instrumental support to allow correct behaviour and effective participation in post-pandemic education. The described categories were expanded to include examples of students’ narratives.
