In order to complete a project in time, companies must determine both the duration of the entire project as well as each of its individual tasks. Very often less experienced companies do not collect data affecting time limit for project completion. Then time required to perform specified activities are determined based on estimation and companies own experience. To minimize the risk error arising as a result of using incomplete historical data and simultaneously increasing the effectiveness of estimating the duration of the project, most project managers with pleasure use the PERT method (Program Evaluation and Review Technique) to estimate the duration of individual tasks of the project on the basis of three intermediate estimation values: optimistic, realistic and pessimistic. This paper will set the duration of an IT (Information Technology) project implementation tasks, determine both critical tasks as well as critical path of the project. Based on estimates deadlines events values, the probability of occurrence time limits shall be also appointed.

The article presents analysis of selected ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in term of the application of the ""Production"" module in a manufacturing enterprise. Conditions for system evaluation and selection have been expressed in classes of criteria. In each class several practical criteria were considered and rated with great detail. The final results are presented on a point scale allowing the comparison of same class systems.

In this article, based on the results of questionnaire sent to 50 companies with different employment size, events affecting the failures of the ERP system implementation were identified and their risk level as well as additional costs related to preventive actions (reducing the probability or effects of the problem occurrence) were investigated. To evaluate the risk values of chosen ERP system implementation tasks, PMI (Project Management Institute) standard was applied.

Undoubtedly, the most important criterion for assessing any project success is to achieve the planned main objective within scheduled time, under the assumed costs and corresponding to established project quality parameters. The article presents critical path method, that aims to determine project schedule which ensure an implementation shortest time. Ultimately, however the optimal project duration is designated after solving human resource deficiencies or conflicts occurring in the generated schedule.

The article presents attempts to identify the needs and problems of modern e-learning and designed a solution that meets the needs of the recipients of e-learning and e-learning content providers. On the basis of this analysis, it was found that the market lacks the e-learning platform that meets all the needs and requirements in remote education. E-learning systems are very poor functionally, and tools for achieving the objectives, such as content creation, content distribution, management learning, and synchronous online meetings appear as separate applications that do not necessarily work well together. Most often each of them must be used separately that extends the preparation of training materials, and is a burden in the administration and supervision of the training course. On the basis of the analysis of remote training needs of recipients and creators of content proposed solution supporting distance learning. On the basis of the analysis of literature and research of user behavior designed and developed an integrated e-learning platform that meets the expectations of the users. The system has successfully motivating tool to complete training and does not require expensive implementation. The main objective of the proposed system was to eliminate the disadvantages observed in other systems. It was found that the human factor impeding the effective acquisition of knowledge as lack of motivation for self-study and the lack of contact with the teacher. In order to minimize the impact of these factors on the educational goals proposed solutions such as elements of competition and extensive virtual classrooms.
