The written interactive register of internet discourse became the generous source for contemporary linguistic studies. This article tries to explain how to fit a modern conversational theory of C. Kerbrat- Orecchioni to the analysis of interaction between humans in the computer asynchronous communication. The conclusions reached at intend to update notions like conversational strategy, conversational negotiation so as to apply them to the new communication means.

The concept of pragmateme as witnessed in various discursive settings is analyzed. It is demonstrated to be dependent on a diaphasic variant at work - it can be felicitously applied to utterances whose value hinges on the communicative context, and it proves inherent to the speechproduction of a given individual. Likewise, its value may depend on communicative circumstances and might be specific to a given speech community. Convenient examples are provided by the anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist discourses of the acclaimed French performer Dieudonné fanciers. Pragmateme’s instance taken into consideration relies on a single phonetic shape \ʃ ɔ.a.na.nɑ\ likely to correspond to two different spellings [chaud ananas] [Shoah nana]. It misrepresents the figure of a Jew, whose depreciating image tightens the ties between community members, where antiSemitism is perceived as an overarching value.

The present paper comes in the wake of ‘Discours 2000’ conference. It aims at the synthesis of anti-Semitic verbal acts showing an entrenchment in linguistic stereotypes picked put in Polish and French web forums. A bundle of anti-Semitic interpretations have been selected from discussions dealing with acclaimed cases of Dominique Strauss-Kahn. It is demonstrated how a given speech act can be knowingly complemented with extra-verbal elements so that its interpretation becomes unambiguous. The examples brought under discussion show to what extent the linguistic concept of Jews is ingrained in today’s culture.

The aim of the article (based on the ffragments of the doctoral dissertation) was the analysis of the spoken language functioning in the Italian and French cyberspace as a communication system secondary to the oral skills (orality) of the first human groups. The thesis is the following: in the electronic communication the two language uses, the written and the spoken, cannot be treated separately, as a dichotomy, as they coexist and are connected by one common code, "work" language, Computer Mediated Communication. The communication presented is devoted to the conversational analysis of discourse in the asynchronous communication, the dialogue exchange on forums and discussion groups. The notion-keys are as follows: asynchrony of dialogue microspace, inter-subjective space, sequential implicativness, conversational strategy.

The French of information science is a variant of a lively general language submitted to constant changes. In order to bring closer, better understand and get acqainted with the technical terms either names of equipment, programmes, or situations peculiar to computer reality, the user refers to everyday life (e.g. passerelle, English gateway; souris, English mouse) or to universal or mythological concepts (e.g. argonautes - internautes) thanks to the phenomenon of metaphor. It sometimes happens that the original concept, which served as a basis for the creation of a metaphor, is obliterated memory and computer users apply a new term being unaware of its origin. Just in this way during metaphoric operations totally new words are formed and they influence the specific character of the language of information science.

Application de la théorie des négociations conversationnelles de Kerbrat-Orecchioni et de la notion de stratégie à l’analyse des messages asynchrones de l’interaction virtuelle

The author presents her current research project dealing with the argumentation of written interactions that appeared in cyberspace. They focus on the activities of the artist, humorist, political activist Dieudonné M’Bala M’Bala in France and, in Poland, around the activities of the journalist, philo-semitic performer Rafal Betlejewski. The common point of these discourses is that they trigger argumentative mechanisms that are part of the anti-Semitic attitudes of the interacting subjects. It demonstrates how the methodologies of French-speaking linguists can be useful for the argumentative analysis of such a difficult textual corpus.

The paper addresses the two following questions: 1) how should a discourse perspective on specialized communication training course be introduced ? 2) should student’s identity attending a course in specialized communication be taken into account, or, conversely, left out ? Special attention is paid to methodological problems of teaching linguistics. Two MA postgraduate programmes run at Romance Philology are taken as examples La manipulation et ses aspects linguistiques (Linguistic aspects of interpersonal manipulation) and L’image linguistique du monde. Les stéréotypes racistes dans la langue et la culture (Racist stereotypes in language and culture).

L’attitude, puis les arguments

The paper investigates the challenges posed by argumentation relying on a logical fallacy. The data has been obtained from a genuine interaction found in cyberspace. The aim of the study is to demonstrate that once a line of reasoning is arbitrarily imposed, a conversational schema emerges, even in spite of the fact that the messages are not consistently interlinked.

The article presents, in a synthetic way, some observations of the author on the functioning of the prosodic elements in the discourse on Jewish issues which, very often, degenerates into anti-Semitic discourse. The corpus consists of discursive contributions drawn from authentic Internet interactions, focusing on Dieudonné’s activities in France from 2009 and on Rafal Betlejewski’s performances in Poland from 2007. Since this speech is carried out in the written interactive register, it is a graphic imitation of prosody. Examples of the equivalents of marked pronunciation, accent on the topic of the utterance, and puns residing on homonymy are analysed. The author argues that such imitations, apart from the expression of emotions, also lead to argumentative effects. The article provides a synthetic overview of these observations, highlighting the role of prosodic elements in shaping discourse on Jewish issues.
